Stop by if you’re in Callander.
You can’t pass through Callander without a stop at the Toy Museum on the Main Street. It’s jam packed with toys, figures and games from the past decades. Lovely to see so many old games and things I remember from my childhood. And it’s only a couple of quid to get in. It’s great.

    Blown away!!! Amazing!
Found the toy museum whilst staying in Callander for the night. Situated on the high street just facing the co-op, it’s easy to find. The shop is fab, I couldn’t believe my luck when I spotted a lotus esprit from the spy who loved me sat in one of the cabinets for sale! My husband had one as a child and often talks about it, it was like we were meant to go in this place. The museum was just mind blowing. £3 entry fee, well worth it. The most huge collection of every different toy from years gone by! Catalogued and encased in cabinets, it was absolutely incredible to see. The lady who we spoke to I believe was the owners daughter, and she was delightful, so friendly and warm. This was for sure one of the highlights of our trip, Thankyou so much for sharing your collection with the world.

    Always worth a visit
We hadn’t been to the museum for a few years but as before thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Takes us ages as so much time spent looking and reminiscing about our childhood toys and our sons. Great place friendly owner. Be sure to visit when in Callander.

We visited today and the lady and man the In the shop were extremely rude and unwelcoming. They didn't even acknowledge us when we entered the shop and proceeded to talk about a customer who had just been in and how they were surprised he wasn't tempted to buy more!!! They continued to chat to amongst themselves about the possible price of toys. There was an item we were interested in but given their rude attitude and the way they were chatting about other customers we decided to leave and again didn't even get a goodbye despite being the only people in the store!! Would not recommend and would not return

There is so much to see in this little museum. Each room, the corridors and staircase are filled with different toys. There's a different theme for each room. It brought back lots of memories of toys from my childhood and was fun to show my daughter. The shop has vintage toys and memorabilia for sale. Well worth a visit

Outstanding and happy experience, taking me back to the late 60’s and 70’s through the time travel of toys .
Stunning collection and well shown , don’t be fooled by little doorway entry , it leads to a labyrinth of childhood memories .
Shall return for a less rushed visit .

This is a great place to while away an hour or so. The collection is £3 each to enter and is so nostalgic. Loads of toys I used to have, or would have liked. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about everything toys. Well worth a visit.

What an amazing, quirky little museum! We could've spent hours there because when you turn around and look again, you see something new.The owners were so passionate about their collection that we spent ages talking to them about it and about our own collection at home.We couldn't resist buying something while we were there.

I am disabled & went to this museum recently. I have never been received so helpfully in my life. I couldn't access upstairs on my mobility scooter, but I am able to do short distances & the owner couldn't have been more helpful, fetching me a chair & moving it round the galleries for me. What a wonderful place absolutely crammed with childhood history. I could spend my time looking at everything whilst seated & I enjoyed the whole experience so much. Thank you for adding to my holiday with your kindness. It is rare to find these small museums now run by families & this one is special & excellent value.

Stumbled across this museum, and what a wonderful find! Two floors of neatly arranged (but somehow still delightfully higgledy-piggledy) toys spanning nearly 200 years: from Dinky cars to Matchbox, Sindy to Beatles paraphernalia, Thunderbirds to Meccano, Enid Blyton to puppets, trains to Robertsons Jam badges. Wholeheartedly recommended!

For £3 entrance fee for adults and £1 for children it's well worth the money.
You can wander at leisure and relive bits of your childhood in every room.
Every floor has toys in every nook and cranny and just when you think you've seen it all something else catches your eye.
You make what you will from your visit...you can rush round everything and not think it's worth visiting or you can take your time and savour every room.
The toilet on the ground floor even is filled with retro advertising signs on the walls.
It is a collection of childhood innocence so suspend all adult prejudices at the door.
Only thing I would say is there appears to have no lifts so if anyone has difficulties with stairs it might be hard to reach all floors and all exhibits.
There is a little shop and the couple who appear to run the place are very welcoming and friendly.
Well worth a visit and would recommend.

I have visited twice with my family.

The shop is good and well priced. My children managed to find some toys they were very happy with.

The museum is fun for all age groups. It is a pleasant nostalgic trip and very unique.

I would recommend a visit.
