Lovely relaxing place to sit and watch the sun go down while eating excellent fish & chips from the Priory fish bar. Always something to watch on the river.

So good to be back here again (we used to live in Boscombe) but forgot how lovely Christchurch is, walking along the river, watching the ducks skitting and the swans gracefully doing their thing. Then to the quay itself, looking across to the reeds, watching...More

The Christchurch Quay area was a lovely place to visit after walking around the town church, Norman ruin, and castle ruin. There were artists selling artwork by the water, people gathered around feeding the large and surprisingly friendly swans and ducks. There are also a...More

Nice place for a day, good fun with the boat hire and a classic car show as a bonus. Get there early as parking can be a bit tricky.

Relaxing and pleasant place to spend time waiting for the ferry to Hengistbury Head and eating lunch. Friendly happy people strolling around and lots of boats, ducks and swans to photograph. Toilets clean.

I holidayed in Christchurch recently and the Quayside is lovely, with a great playpark for the kids and an added bonus of a free splashpark which my smallest loved. It's safe, clean and on the day busy but not uncomfortably so. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place to walk along on a summer's day or ride a bicycle around the quay and the area. Shops and stores open during the summer months.

Wonderful place for young children with a splash park that is totally safe. This is next to a swing park. There are boats to hire where you can travel up and down the river. Also the Captains Club hotel which is situated on the river...More

This place is just beautiful, especially in the summer, walk around the quay, watch the boats, have a lovely cup of coffee, enjoy the scenery, well worth a visit.

The ancient and stunning Christchurch Priory is the backdrop for a walk, food or just an ice cream. There is loads of history, and interest at the priory, Red House museum or along the quay itself. We walk through regularly and sometimes stop at one...More

It was certainly open last week. Unless water restrictions are introduced (and no sign of these yet in the area) I see no reason why it would not be. It might be worth checking on the Council website at the last moment... More
