Hard to choose what the best part of the visit was: the helpful and knowledable staff; the fact that roped off areas are kept to an absolute minimum so you feel a real part of the history around you; or the wonderful grounds and outbuildings. We had an interesting and fun day - thank you!

Visited here with my daughter and 2 grandchildren, plenty of parking spaces, doesn't open until 11am, so we had to wait around for 20 mins as we weren't aware of this but the nice lady let us in a bit earlier as it was quite cold standing around. It's a really lovely place , the hall is quite impressive from... More

We visited with our grandchildren and they loved exploring the grounds and discovering the children's play area. There was a Craft fair in the marquee which was very interesting with some lovely wood carvings, jewellery and many other crafts. A nice place to visit at this time of year especially to see our grandchildren running around and having fun.

Visited yesterday with hubby for the 1st time. Hanbury Hall is a beautiful English Baroque house set in lovely gardens and parkland. We went on the interesting Guided Talk round the lower part of the house. Starts at 11:45 & goes every half hour. We followed this with a pre-booked St. Valentines Day Afternoon Tea held upstairs away from the... More

Visited with a school group in a power chair - the staff were suddenly confronted with a wheelchair user without having been told I was attending in a chair. At the start we met in two different area's by mistake and errors in communication and organisation started to emerge. With the group being diverse with two people with reduced mobility... More

Went on the wellie walk on the last minute because the weather was so bad windy and raining but what a great time we had . The lady that took us was so nice and I learnt a lot about the hall and the surrounding area. We then had lunch in the tea room which was lovely. Stunning house and... More

We visited Hanbury Hall on our way home from Brignorth. What a beautiful house in a delightful setting. The National Trust Volunteers were most welcoming, and I must thank Theresa in particular. She was our guide on the house tour, and we were all absolutely amazed at her extensive knowledge of both the family , and the alterations to the... More

Whilst staying in Droitwich we visited Hanbury Hall. As it was February, we could only visit the Hall by booking a downstairs tour. 'Free flow' visits and access to upstairs are apparently not available in January and February. The tour was informative. We were encouraged to sit down at various stages so the tour does suit people with limited mobility.... More

I love visiting Hanbury Hall - the gardens are really lovely to walk around, there's plenty to explore. The house is also very pleasant, we only had a tour around the downstairs rooms as they were cleaning the upstairs so next time we will hopefully get to see more. There is lots of interesting history to the house which the... More
