We came just before Christmas and great efforts had been made by the volunteers to add some fun to the visit. They had decided to recreate the 70's and it was quite charming. We even bought some Babycham.

Called in for a look around at the 70s/80s theme, great displays of loads of stuff from those times, brought back a lot of memories, good and bad, well worth a visit, very enjoyable

Great visit. It was very interesting with every room set out as it was in the 70's. We had a snacks in the small coffee. The food was very small portions and not the best. It was not up to NT's usual standards. Disappointed.

We were shown and told of wild parties that went on during the seventies this house is well worth a visit, the grounds on a fine day give you an idea of how they lived in the past.

Visited today and wasn't disappointed. The house was decorated in a 70's/80's theme, and as a child of the 50's it brought back many happy memories. The drawing room had a very effective Santa for the children-he had me fooled! The displays of memorabilia were...More

I apologise for missing your question the other day. I would recommend staying over night in a nearby town and then visiting the hall. Redditch is close and so is Alster. Alster is small but very quaint and has some... More
