Our walk on a rainy day here is County Fermanagh did not go as planned. We should have taken our car, but we decided to walk. Bad decision.

Perfectly away from hustle and bustle
Mar 2018 • Friends
A lovely walk that takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the town so you feel a world away despite it only being a five minute car journey. The landscape is largely unspoilt thanks to courteous fellow walkers and after a very short walk to the top, you can see for miles around. Just a perfect little getaway that's there whenever you need it

Achievable walk
Nov 2017 • Friends
A very achievable walk to the top of a brilliant view point over County Fermanagh. There is a good path to the top, which has even stone benches along its way for those who wish to sit and relax on the way up or down. A small carpark at the bottom is very handy for easy access to the area which is well sign posted from surrounding roads.

Done this walk while my husband stayed at our hotel to watch Rugby. I didn’t want to venture to far so this was only 5 minutes drive from town centre.
Lovely walk very peaceful & great view from top.
Only takes 10 mins if even that to get to top not to strenuous. But nice walk and glad I went...

Lovely scenic point

This place is very special to us for its outstanding wildness and beauty at any time of year. We have even visited with snow thick on the ground, but beware roads are treachourous when icy. Should explore further afield but it always draws us back.

Ok

It's not really a mountain which is a bit disappointing and it takes only approx 10 mins to climb it. Views from the top are great but the whole thing is just a walk up a steep-ish path. It's close to Enniskillen so it's not a lot of time wasted but it's also hardly worth it.

What a view

On a clear day and just 1/2 hour to the top of topped mountain. Great spot for exercising or making sure your nephews sleep !!!
The veil is spectular on a clear day. We could see the new road at the Ballygawley roundabout and the beaches in Donegal.

The quickest mountain you'll ever climb.......20 mins slow, 10 mins or less fit and healthy......to a blowy majestic view.......something different to view at different seasons......my favourite the cotton flowers in late summer at dusk.......very few visitors......you can have it all to yourself throughout the year.......a very special place......a one off
