This large house has been beautifully restored by the National Trust after a fire in the late 1950's. There is a woodland surrounding the house and a lake.

Excellent guide, fascinating history showing the immense wealth of the the owners in the past. The attention to detail was impressive but I found that the basement and kitchens were disappointing.

Making use of our new National Trust membership. Good house tour and walks. Not as big as Florence Court we visited the previous day but still easy to spend a few hours here.

Yes there's a solid path the whole way round the lake it will be no problem with a push chair. Certain areas of the forest walk towards the old icehouse may be more difficult but should still be ok.
