Not a lot to say about this amble apart from what a lovely time my wife and me had. We are seasoned walkers and it wasnt as flat as we were led to believe but in return you get amazing views at every turn. Shouldn't take 90 mins for us but we ended up stopping so much to admire views it took nearly double that.

Magical and beautiful locations . Plenty of coffee stops ( but not towards Lantic Bay ) and pics that look more like the Mediterranean . Real holiday atmospheres with ferries to catch between Polruan and Fowey . Fishing boats and clear blue waters . Excellent coastal paths around Polruan in both directions to nearby multiple coves . These are not the locations for young families in wet weather and the extremely narrow approach roads can be ‘ tense ‘ if you are needing to get out and about ! Worth going to just for the Superb Cornish Pasties at the Crumpet Shop Polruan and huge pasties at The Quay Bakery Fowey. Recommend the Hall Walk in Polruan. Superb ice cream at Readymoney Cove! Note the small cove beaches are not dog friendly .

This mildly challenging walk involves plenty of hills but you are rewarded for the effort with fantastic views over the sea and surrounding coast. This walk can be done as a loop to and from Fowey, taking the Bodinnick ferry to one side and the Polruan ferry back.

Have done this many times and love the views around the bays.
A well marked and simple walk with a couple of ferries required and a pub at either end

This is a lovely walk, mainly through forest, giving great views of the river. There are some steep steps and parts can get muddy in the Winter. Plenty of seats along the way.

It does not matter where you begin. Usually going over on the car ferry as a passenger and coming back on the Polruan ferry. I do not think it is a difficult walk at all. A little steep in a few places but the the stunning views over Fowey and out to the ocean takes all that out of the mind. Crossing the estuary on the car ferry is a delight and up the hill passing the Ferry Inn which is a great watering hole. Up and along to Quiller Couches memorial stone. Views over Pencalennick quaint place that use to be the Quarantine hospital many times ago. Down to Pont creek where weary dogs can have a swim. Lovely to see the old signs from when the boats loaded their cargoes. Over the quaint bridge meandering on to Polruan. Picnic seats with lovely scenery vantage points. Down the slope then to what is locally know . as little Russia. Lovely food in the lugger by the foot ferry. Then a little trip over the estuary and into the lovely Fowey. On to Readymoney beach where there is now a delightful cafe. St Catherines castle and beyond is Coombe Haven Pridmouth and Menabilly and the lovely Polkerris'

Park in Foweys main car park or Readymoney Cove car park, beach is beautiful, follow path up to Coombe & round edge of field, beautiful sea views across a deep valley down to Polridmouth Cove -,part of the menabilly Estate where Daphne du Maurier wrote Rebecca.
You can keep going up as far as Gribben Head to the Daymark.
Look back towards Polruan & Fowey up both estuarys. Fantastic Walk.

Quick review of the Hall Walk circular. There are a few permutations and all are fabulous. None are difficult and should be accessible to all, including children, and even my 80 year old mum. The best way is to walk from Polruan to Pont and then on to Bodinnick, because this affords the most spectacular views across the harbour. Equally one can walk along the coast path from Polruan and then back along the creek to Bodinnick. Do also visit Lanteglos church. If coming from Fowey you will need to use the ferry. There are refreshments at each village.

Some of the best and most spectacular walking in the country. The tidal creeks - constantly changing with the tides - make you feel as if you've hurtled back centuries in time. The cliff walks are rugged and with jaw-dropping (and an amazing array of wild flowers and shrubs), and then there is the contrast of the beautiful narrow lanes of Polruan (good pubs and a lovely teashop). Terrain can be quite up and down, but nothing overly strenuous for anyone with moderate fitness. One of my favourite places in the country.

Really enjoyed this. I am not a hardened walker but it is really lovely. Took boat across from Fowey. There are lots of steps in places but manageable. Take your time and enjoy the views of the estuary. There was no where to stop for refreshment except at the beginning and end of the walk. Took about 2 and a half hours as we ambled along
