Saaltwell Park is where I grew up, but revisiting it after many years i was delighted to see it the same but different. The gothic mansion is now a tea rooms, and there are many interesting features to amaze and fascinate..including a maze a lake, an aviary, bowling green, etc. Its well worth an afternoon in any season.

Really Miss Saltwell Park which is located next to Low fell. Always used to take my dog for walks there and watch the beautiful plants. Great for family on a sunny day or kids.

This is a very big park to walk around, with lots of entrance & exits. Hills in some places but mostly flat. A good place to take a family or a dog walk. Peddle boats available to hire on the lake, Ducks and swans. Ice cream vans are there sometimes.

I visit Saltwell Park regularly with my dog in all seasons but autumn is my favourite time with all the colours in the trees.Saltwell Towers is an impressive building and the cafe serves excellent coffee and snacks. An excellent park to spend a relaxing couple of hours.

There is always something to enjoy in Saltwell Park. The vistas are superb with some lovely vegetation. The facilities for children are fantastic and my grandchildren love it there. You can vary your walks in many directions. Saltwell Towers has delicious refreshments and there is nothing nicer than sitting outside on a sunny day enjoying the views.

My partner, daughter and I visited here a few days ago for the first time and I didn't realise how big it was and how much you could do. We obviously fed the ducks and had a play in the park, but we also had to have a look at the Indian blue peacocks.
