Great for a family day out with lots to do. There is a lake you can hire pedal boats that are shaped like swans and dragons that are great fun with play areas for children and also dogs. There is a maze swell which is great fun for the kids and even adults as I had a little go though... More

Been to several of the parks Bonfire nights and they never fail to impress. The park is one of my North East favourites but on Bonfire night it always is that little bit more special. Best of all its normally free entry. Take your camera for a fun night at a great venue

Beautiful park to take the kids on a day out. The play parks are good and clean. The maze is quite fun for the kids. Cafe is expensive but not too bad food

Perfect for a picnic and a good range of play areas to keep the children entertained. The maze was a big hit. A nice park made even better by the lovely sunshine.

Given decent weather this is a great place to visit with a family. Plenty of paths to follow, with large grassed areas for play. There are traditional park areas with flower beds. The play areas have a good range of equipment. The lake is canny for boating or watching the wild birds.

We really enjoyed a stroll around here last weekend, never been before despite visiting Gateshead regularly over the years. The gardens were well kept and the maze is small but fun. Was impressed by the size of it too.

Been here loads of times over the years and it's definitely a place you can spend a full day of the weather is good. A couple of big play areas, a sand pit, a small zoo/farm, a maze, a lake, a train (extra charge) and a coffee shop are all on site. Take a blanket and a picnic and you... More
