It's interesting to see the bridge move and it's a great photo opportunity too. A nice place to stop and watch the boats go by too.

What a beautiful sight especially at night with the lights reflecting on the river. Worth a visit. Right by the art gallery too so take in both at once!

When the bridge opens & close at different times of the day you always have a crowd, its very cleverly carried with the use of pump & is very economic, nice to see & cross for both walkers & cyclists.

The Malenium Bridge is a magnificent work of engineering that crosses the River Tyne between Gateshead and Newcastle joining the both quaysides. It makes walking or cycling along either quaside very enjoyable with easy access.

Visit on a Sunday when the market is on. It's a lovely place to take in the river and the quayside. It's a spectacular bit of engineering and a lovely landmark to walk across giving great views down the Tyne of all the bridges.

It's a bridge, it got me across the river. Can't give it any higher praise. Zero opportunities to fall in and seating provided half way across for those who may way to take a breather when crossing.
