A beautiful church taking pride of place in the city centre with its tall, elegant spire catching the eye for miles around. I was pleased to discover it was open and spent a while appreciating the superb architecture, including the wonderful stained glass windows, the font and the lovely blue ceiling in the chancel.

Such a beautiful church, obviously loved and used. Interesting history. Spacious, good facilities, cafe sometimes. A short walk within the town with Kings School to one side. Lovely peaceful churchyard so well kept.

Well maintained and decorated tastefully for X’mas. Beautiful choir practice while we were there.
Surprised at the beautiful coloured glass of the church windows.

It is strange to review a church, but here goes. In today's society, a Church is usually a place of worship, but I was among hundreds of others who paid to listen to Simon Weston (Falklands wounded hero) for about an hour talking about his time in the Falklands war which resulted in severe burns and a long period of recuperation.

To hear this Welsh Guardsman talk about a war we were barely prepared for was interesting, shocking and sad at the same time.

I'm glad this historic Church is keeping up with the times and will keep supporting it in the future.

A beautiful church which was a great venue for the annual beer festival.
Lots of different types of people enjoying an afternoon sampling beers from all over the country.

I stumbled on this church and it was just beautiful. The steeple is extremely high and is a sight to behold. It really worth a visit and this church had an ice rink too and holds regular events.

We visited the church today whilst in Grantham, it was well worth it.
The church is set in a little cloister, with some lovely houses all around. We were welcomed by a friendly church volunteer who offered us a guide to the church and then mentioned the chain library, which we visited. There was a short climb, 22 steps up a tower to the library, where another friendly volunteer told us about their various books and their history.
The church is large and has many chapels for prayer and even a crypt. There are many superb large stain glass windows & a lovely altar.
If you ever in Grantham, then I recommend a visit to this lovely church.

The church has an old chained library that is open most days and accessible only up a small winding staircase.

A really interesting historical building with an amazing choir. Youth choir evensongs on Fridays are such a wonderful time for peace and space, with the beautiful acoustic of the Lady Chapel. There are so many interesting things to see and always events happening (including the beer festival in October!).

Well worth a visit. Full of history. The Church is huge and more like a cathederal. Open to the public but check the board outside for times of services.
