The beach is stony down to the sea, shoes recommended. There are sand dunes though not very big one. We walked down to the sea then walked along to the Wellington Pier, its a lovely walk on soft sand.

Really clean, lots of access ramps for push chairs, loads of shops and arcades as you would expect. Loads of restaurants from quick fish and chips to sit down affairs few streets back from the promenade

I’ll admit when it comes to the beach I do tend to be a bit fussy, so was sceptical of this beach. Oh how I was proven wrong. The beach is beautiful and very well kept. Local residents should be proud of the area

Such a beautiful, big sandy beach, so much do around, including pubs, arcades, rides, food places, shops. Such a great place to come!!

Hello there. Yes, the toilets are plentiful, clean and at street level so easily accessible for the less mobile or wheelchairs.

no dogs on the main beach but if you go to north deans end thats ok there
