Came here for a murder mystery night, what a great location for it to be held! Great fun, will go again, buffet spread included, great value for money.

Have not been for over 10 years as I had children. Fancied a date night with my girlfriend, who had never been before. Decided to eat there as well. Car park is big enough and looks safe.Front door area looks run down but not terrible. Friendly reception staff. Made are way to the ‘restaurant’ it’s more like a cafe in the Bar area. I’m suited and the girlfriend is in a pretty dress and we feel out of place. Yes the server was nice but she looked more like a truck stop worker. Van checked the menu online and thought but was cheap but now it was inline with what I saw. The next problem was not burger buns, the menu is about 50% burgers. We ordered fish. Food was very tasty. Paid £30 for two meals and two drinks. Went downstairs to gamble. Was shocked by people eating chicken at the tables, no dress code (checked website and this is acceptable) it was a quiet Thursday nite but only on Blackjack open and we never got a chance to play. One women was playing 21’s and Roulette at the same time. This didn’t seem right. Had a fun night and a lucky win on my last chip. But this place has gone down hill.

Can't fault the service we received here. 4 of us went as novices, were really looked after and shown the ropes, we had chance to Practice games with tuition before playing for real money. We had a fantastic few hours and were gutted to have to leave when our transport arrived. We will definitely go back here and recommend it. Thank you Grosvenor casino for making our special day great!

Went here with two of my friends. Menu has a great selection of dishes. In the end I went for the braised beef with chicken tenders on the side. My friends had the sea bass and the braised beef also. The food came and it was evident very quickly that this was going to be a good meal. Each chicken tender was pretty much half a chicken breast, freshly made and juicy. The braised beef fell apart and the sauce was spot on. The meal cost just over £70 and that included 2 rounds of drinks. Definitely going back there. Highly recommended!

A weird experience. Was staying locally (2 streets away) on holiday and wanted somewhere within stumbling distance to eat (not to gamble). Went to the restaurant for an evening meal and subsequently ate there 3 nights running. Food brilliant! The best steak I have had for years. Our first 2 nights the restaurant staff was attentive (thank you Ann), friendly and strived to meet our requests (but no Gordon's gin, no Campari). On the 3rd night the restaurant staff were obviously drafted-in shift workers who didn't know, or didn't care, how to care for customers. The chef (unknown, otherwise I would give you a name-check) was the star each night. A real case of zerandippidi; had I gone there to gamble I might have been pleasantly surprised by the food, as a diner I was amazed at the food but didn't feel inclined to gamble. Incidentally, a building of interesting social history and architecture.
