Unfortunately the Museum is no longer open (summer 2019) I don't think it will be re-opening. I'm not sure if the museum contents have been donated elsewhere (Time & Tide Museum?)

Sadly this place is closed and there is at the moment no plans to reopen it. This is shame because there are so many thing of interest to look at and the stamproom just blow me away at what could be done. I do hope it reopens but I don't think it will.

No 1 must see things in Great Yarmouth

Surprised my Dad and wife with a visit to this little gem of a museum. Set out in the old gas showroom which is a lovely setting.
The exhibits are very interesting and bring back memories of our childhood.
The ladies in there were very knowledgable and very proud of what they have!
Should be the No 1 attraction in Yarmouth and I would encourage you to visit an ideal visit when raining.
Will be recommending and visiting again soon

lovely museum, small but sweet, was in there over 2 hours, very knowledgeable staff and very interesting stories. The lady Valerie (in her 80's I believe), who owns it was not there at the time, but she pays all the running costs her self and donates all the entrance money and collection box money to children's hospices in memory of her son. Very admirable. At the time of our visit adults were £3 and children over 5 £1. Well worth a look

A must for anyone who likes the weird and wonderful...
May 2016 • Couples
This museum is packed to the rafters with oddities; including a mass of royal memorabilia, a room dedicated to furniture covered with stamps, a rather freaky teddy bears' picnic (stand there for too long and you can imagine them coming to life!) and a section about the Elephant Man which I didn't linger over for too long as the film gave me nightmares as a child. But my favourite things were the exquisitely detailed miniature stalls and shops crafted by a lady as therapy following the devastating loss of her husband. With knowledgeable staff who are passionate about their subject, this gem of a museum is a must for all you eccentrics out there!

What a little gem. A small museum packed to the rafters with memorabilia of every kind.We called in expecting to be there half an hour but ended up staying an hour and a half and could have stopped longer.Very suitable for people and children of all ages. One persons lifetime collection of so many different things from Teddy Bears to Royal memorabilia. Do visit, its fascinating.
