Impressive dome, Victoria hall, and mayoral quarters, and ornate plaster work all around, stained glasses, good maintenance means it is a worthy place to pop into if you are in Halifax. Cafe around the corner also.

Just a stunning building and well worth a look, Town Halls never looked this good when i was a child.fantastic lightening conductors and spires, just brilliant.

The Town Hall has now had its exterior cleaned so the scaffolding has gone. With its large tower it dominates the area and is an architectural masterpiece and was designed by Parry who later designed the Houses of Parliament. It's worth a walk by just...More
