Only open occasionally, but I went one Sunday and very much enjoyed the view from the top. Quite a climb - lots of narrow stairs - probably not great if you are infirm or unfit.

If climbing a lot of steps is ok for you , then worth a visit for the view. Needs to be on a clear wind free day or you may feel like you will be blown away

Although it's not easy to get there (and a lack of signposts doesn't help), this is a remarkable structure and you can't miss it when driving into Halifax from the west. It's open on Bank Holidays (although my days of climbing 402 steps is long...More

I was driving through Halifax and saw the tower. The building can be seen from a great distance. Sadly the tower wasn’t open when I visited, but it’s still worth going to see. It has lovely architectural features near the top.You get fantastic views, of...More

Up, up and away. A heck of climb up a narrow staircase, but very worth the trip - what a view. Sadly we visited on a rather damp day, but even so...
