A delightful old church in a friendly town setting. Halifax Minster is at the bottom of the town, it is open regularly for people to visit and you may even catch the end of a choir practice or service. The staff are very welcoming, informative and friendly. There is a brilliant little gift shop.

This is a very beautiful church. Don't be put off by the blackened stones. Go inside and you will be rewarded with a gorgeous building with some lovely carvings and really beautiful stained glass.

I went with a group to learn how to bell ring. The evening was well put together with the minsters bell ringers. I don't think the population of Halifax town centre like our experimently sounds were keen. Really enjoyable evening we finished of the night at the three pigeons

We trekked down to visit the Halifax Minster, only to find that they were preparing it for a service the next day so were unable to take a peek.
