A short walk from our hotel. Only recently upgraded to Minster but this is a fine church. We were particularly pleased by the kindness of the volunteer guides, how blessed we are by such people. It's not an outstanding church but one that the victorians...More

Great historic place to visit, especially if you like old buildings, churches etc, lots to learn, about, and then not far away, you have The Piece Hall and Town Hall, also steeped in history

I have had relatives in Halifax for years yet only just visited this minster. We had a very chatty steward who told us what to look out for. I saw 'commonwealth clear glass windows for the first time. The 1630's carved pews also look good.

We visited the Minster with friends. If anyone is interested in history or loves churches, I would recommend a look. It has wonderful stained glass and is just beautiful. Spent time looking at everything and felt calm and refreshed afterwards.

This was beautiful inside with lots of literature to read about the History. There was a little café inside so you could have a nice hot drink if needed
