Really really sad this place is gone.
Apr 2016 • Friends
I really enjoyed coming here. What a great place to have a nice chilled afternoon! I always got the hot rocks treatment. I just felt so relaxed and great and Vee was great at doing them too. Sad they've now moved on as I'm missing my relax time away from town!

Fabulous place to stay
Aug 2016 • Business
Stayed here for work this week when I was up in Shetland. This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, Paul and Vi Parsons were very welcoming and lovely hosts. This was an easy to get to, Bressay ferry was straightfoward and very regular, and Paul picked us up at the ferry port. Beautiful place to stay, my room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was so comfortable! Dinner was amazing, really great food, and overall this was a fab place to stay with lovely views. Would highly recommend, and I'm going to try and visit again so I can take advantage of the spa next time!

Birthday Treat
May 2016 • Friends
Visited here for my daughter-in-law's birthday treat. 4 of us had the most amazing time enjoying the spa. Each of us had a different treatment as well, Hopi Ear Candles, Hot Rock Massage, Neck/Back/Shoulder Massage, and Full Body Massage. Everything was perfect. A beautifully location, a stunning house, excellent facility's, and two amazing hosts in Paul and Vi Parsons. We will be back xxx

Fantastic views, stunning location, total relaxation
Mar 2016 • Business
After a busy day in Lerwick there is absolutely nothing more relaxing than taking the short ferry ride to Bressay, where Paul will collect you and whisk you to a place of perfect calm.
The rooms are comfortable, quiet and the views are fantastic - even in the rain!
Dinner is to die for and breakfast is just right.
I've not sampled the spa but this really is a terrific place to stay. Best place on Shetland by far.

Birthday treat
Mar 2015 • Couples
Having never visited a Spa before mainly because thinking this was more of a girlie thing to do. I booked a treat for myself and my partner because she deserved it and had also not experienced this activity before. Going in as novices was a little intimidating but the welcome from Vee and Paul soon put us at ease.
We booked a half day Hydro therapy session with the added experience of a Hot Box Detox in the infrared sauna and Hot Rock Massage for our upper bodies.
The Hydro therapy was exhilarating and quite intense yet very relaxing, Paul was very attentive leading us through each stage of the routine while ensuring we kept up the water and nutrient intake with the beautifully prepared fruit medley and fruit juices.
The Far Infra Red Sauna did absolute wonders for an ongoing back problem that I've suffered from. I'd highly recommend this treatment even though it is an expensive indulgence for half an hour.
The Hot Rock Massage was absolute bliss for both of us. Vee certainly knows how to make one totally relax during the intense therapy.
Soft drinks were offered after the morning session was over, these are taken in the reception room which is tastefully decorated in an Asian theme all leading to a totally relaxing day.
We had booked for lunch too which was as good a dining experience as we have had in Shetland. All produce is either locally or home sourced and was really tasty and beautifully presented.
All in all a fantastic day out, one which I am keen to repeat in the not too distant future.

Relaxing little oasis
I visited Northern Lights Holistic Spa for a hot stone massage and came away feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Bressay is a beautiful little island and the Spa is ideally situated only a short drive from the ferry terminal. The owners are incredibly welcoming and make you feel immediately at home. This was my first hot stone massage and I felt completely relaxed. I only wish I could have stayed longer and sampled their famous cooking!

Everything is excellent here
May 2014 • Solo
Recent visit got two treatments, both excellent owners are the nicest people I know. Building is high class and they offer excellent food as well, although not had that this time. Bit rushed working in between ferries but that's my choice. Well recommended, a few Shetland business could learn customer services from here

Beautiful location
Mar 2013 • Couples
A visit to Shetland would not be complete without a going to this wondrful spa. Shetland is a wonderful relaxing place but you do not know what relaxed is until you have spent time with Vee and Paul. Even if you don't have time to go for any of the treatments you can visit the spa and eat some wonderful lunch. This couple have created a warm relaxing getaway with acess to the rest of shetland just a ferry trip away.
