Got given this as an Xmas present. Voucher comes as a Golden ticket and with a bar of chocolate.
A really lovely place. On arrival you get given a drink with some homemade chocolates.
Upstairs to the workshop. Useful and interesting information about the types of chocolate and where they are from. Which you get to sample.
Then we made our own filling to go in chocolate cups, where you get to choose what flavour. You come away with a box full if these and they are very yummy.
Then you have a break where you go back downstairs to the shop and have a cup of warm melted chocolate and some biscuits. Extremely yummy.
Back upstairs to make your truffles. This is the fun messy bit. If you are not tempted to lick the chocolate off your gloves, then you have more self control than I do lol.
Again you come away with at least two bags of the truffles.
The guy that did our workshop was hilarious and me and my partner had such a laugh. We learnt so much, it changed the way we eat and buy chocolate and would definatly recommend this experience.
Word of advice, you eat loads of chocolate and take loads home...go on an empty stomach!!
The chocolates and truffles are so yummy that we will probably use their home kit to make truffles for our wedding favours.
Wish these guys and their company all the best and for us it was a great experience, better than we expected it to be.
Thank you so much for an excellent experience.

My wife went to Chocolate Alchemy to find me a Christmas present.......chocolate covered dates, I brought some back from holiday and could not find any around and I forgot about it, my wife however did not. Having asked if they could make chocolate covered dates it seems that it was something they had not done before but were willing to do. They were really good and did not last long.
I now have my chance to say thanks to Daniel for making a great Christmas present. I would recommend anyone to try this place even if its just for a coffee and look at some of the things that this unique company does.

My daughter and I were looking for a different kind of day out (ie not just shopping with her attempting to empty my bank account). We found this place just by googling and made a booking, however when hubby found out he wanted to come along too so it was a girly day +1.
Isaac led the workshop and was friendly and informative. We made some handmade truffles as well as some filled chocolates. Even though we said so ourselves they were amazing. Now we've just got to resist eating them all at once!
Highly recommend a visit, even if just for a drink and a sweet treat!

Having spent three hours having a walk around a nearby country estate we headed here for some afternoon tea and to warm up as a Birthday treat.
Placed our order and despite all the table being occupied and all seemingly having already received their orders we seemed to wait ages. Thre were two ladies dealing with the customers, an oriental lady and a yound white girl. It was the girl who served us and took our order. We ordered two hot chocolates and a bake platter. The hot chocolates came reasonably quickly but we had to ask about the bake platter. We did hear the oriental lady pointed out to the young girl she had not asked what we wanted on the platter but instead of coming to ask just proceeded to put a selection on the platter.
Came to pay and whilst the menu was not cheap I assumed the price I was charged was right - well you don't you - but when I got back to the table I added it up and found I had been overcharged by £6.50. Complained and it was refunded and we were given a bag of buttons as an apology.
Can't fault the food but badly let down by your staff

We sought this place out and were looking forward to the hot chocolate. Unfortunately it was only average. Also the shop is kind of hard to find.

Normally if I go into a shop full of chocolate it would be impossible for me to be totally objective but, TBH, this place makes it perfectly possible.
There were 4 of us who wanted drinks but only 1 young person behind the counter serving everyone. I have no idea if this is normal as it was the first visit and I don't plan a repeat anytime soon,
When they finally arrived the drinks were lukewarm at best but the queue was out the shop door and all the tables were full so no point in complaining.

I just celebrated my daughters birthday here & its truly a lovely place. Everything from the chocolate tasting, making chocolate lolly, to the cake & food was fantastic. Recommend this cafe to any one thinking to have a party. Place is a Credit to the owners 😀🍰🎉🍫

We happened to pass by Chocolate Alchemy on a trip to Loughborough today. On entering I was welcomed by one of the owners and was soon tasting a very special hot chocolate drink. On being joined by my wife we had another drink and had scones to eat. We found out that it was run by a young couple and their chocolatier. They were very friendly and I can see why it is so popular with its customers. In our short time there 2 local business people came in to take away drinks for their staff which seemed a really good idea and apparently one taken up by several local firms. We were tempted to buy some of their goodies and will certainly return there and tell our friends about this special place.

I have had chocolate from this business before, when they held a tasting evening at the Radmoor Centre, and I really enjoyed it so when I needed special chocolate again I visited them at their shop. I ordered a small amount of chocolates with a specific filling and they made them specially for me. It took a couple of days but it was worth it. (Also it's possible they will do them to order faster, but I told them I wasn't in a rush so I left it up to them)
I highly recommend them for excellent chocolate. I will be back to try their hot chocolate after seeing these reviews!

I am extremely fussy about chocolate and fairly disparaging of most of it but this place scores highly with me. Everything is fresh so each time I visit the selection is slightly different.
I only eat dark chocolate and I highly recommend the salty caramels, the dark chocolate mint cubes, several of the single source bites and the marmalade micro mousses.
If you are dedicated to the cause take your first box back once it's empty and refill it to save money on boxes and spend it on more chocolate.
