Very old cinema but needs to look at staffing, we are over 60 and when we entered the screen 1 the lights were off and we couldn't see the steps, there were no staff at all so we had to use our phone torch. Maybe low lighting should be on steps. A accident waiting to happen. On the positive note seats were OK and disabled toilet was acceptable.

Great experience here again, we have never had a problem ever.
The staff are really helpful and friendly. The prices are the cheapest around too.

Well after vowing never to go Vue cinema again (see previous review) I was told about this little gem an old style cinema not your plush all singing all dancing place but was clean and a little retro...but here's the best bit £4...yes you read right £4 a ticket went to a 8:30 showing and apart from one other we were all alone..bonus whole cinema to ourselves..drinks and snacks over inflated as usual but when paying £4 it doesn't stick in your throat as much...decent size screen audio good and a/c...parking in the car park adjacent was super cheap aswell...film,drinks and parking for less than £20....I think this will be my new local 😁

The place was like a fridge, they said it was because they were not allowed to have heating because of COVID, this is not true, fact. The place stank, it was absolutely filthy, the film kept buffering, when it was brought to their attention, they basically shrugged their shoulders and agreed. You could here the neighbouring screen over the one we were watching. They just blamed management. They offered ticket money back as I walked out after 20 mins, I was not interested in getting my money back, I’m more interested in why this cinema is actually allowed to operate???

Tried to book elsewhere, but was unavailable so we came to the odeon at Loughborough instead. Tickets were £5 each which wasn’t bad.

However the place felt really dirty, the toilets were awful! The whole place is in need of modernisation.

The prices for snacks and drinks are absolutely extortionate! £3.50 for one small bag of sweets is absolutely ludicrous, when you can go to the Londis a few doors down for £1 a bag. The tango ice blasts cost more than the ticket price.

In the actual cinema room itself, the screen quality wasn’t great and you could hear the film in the following room!

Visited this Cinema in the daytime Jan 2020 along with my wife.
The place itself was clean, although the decor looked tatty and dated. Shocked to find that Tickets were only £4 each.
The seats were ok, but had seen better days; a few of them were broken and covered up.
The worse thing by far was the quality of the picture and sound of the movie. The images weren't sharp at all and looked too dark. The soundtrack was loud, but muffled and not clear.
I realise that the tickets were very cheap and you get what you pay for, but had I known how poor the quality was going to be, I'd have happily paid more and gone to another cinema; which I will do next time.

This is a cheap and cheerful cinema but i'm not a huge fan of the decor or the size of the cinema. Never found the staff very friendly either but for the price it's an ok cinema.
I would rather spend extra to go elsewhere though.

I went here today to watch Alladdin (remake) and really enjoyed the film. The screen was really nice and spacious with leg space and the sounding was ok in Screen 3. Me and my partner brought the £6 ticket and snack deal each (snack includes small popcorn and small drink). Quite a bargain!

We parked at Granby Street parking which was a 30 second walk and we paid 60p for parking since it was a Sunday.

Although, I wasn't fond of the toilets though upstairs they smelt a little, lock on door wasn't great (some hook thing) and after washing hands there was no paper towels or hand dryers available. The toilets reminded me of pub style toilets and there were only 2 cubicals.

The cinema was quite small and old style. I prefer the Odeon De Lux in Leicester with the recliners. But it was a good location for a quick viewing.

There ticket prices are very cheap at £4 a ticket. I visit this cinema 3 or 4 times a month. It is a a lot cheap than their rival cineworld. It is cheaper to get your tickets at the cinema than book them online.

This cinema presents really good value - £4 a ticket for adults, children, students and concessions! They also did a great family deal for £12 for a family of 4. It might not be as up to date as the other cinema in town but provides a lovely experience and is much better value for money. Just a shame that Croma closed so you can no longer get the pizza and ticket deal.
