This Odeon cinema really needs to pull its socks up

I just paid about £10 to see the new Star Wars film for a second time. This was the same price as at a Cineworld multiplex in Burton and the difference between the two... read more

It has so many original features, it is the most amazing building. It deserves to be supported and kept going for being so true to itself. Bear in mind that without extensive remodelling (which would be morally criminal), there is only so much that can be modernised. They have, I believe done the best possible and not ruined the place.... More

This cinema was the first cinema I'd ever visited and it looks just the same. Yes it's not modern as the other cinemas in Leicester but it's got that old charm you can't get anywhere else.

we have been 3 times recently and every time has been as bad as the last so unfortunately we are going to stop using this cinema and wait for the new one to open. Last night we went to see Batman vs Superman (a film i was very excited about) and when we got there the film was subtitled. Nobody... More

I just paid about £10 to see the new Star Wars film for a second time. This was the same price as at a Cineworld multiplex in Burton and the difference between the two establishments is dramatic. The cinema in Loughborough a.k.a. Reel Cinema or The Curzon compares very poorly to modern cinemas. The adjoining restaurant Croma is actually a... More

Lovely old fashioned cinema! Cheap seats, special offers...two for £8 , not new releases..staff very pleasant, the little restaurant is nice to go before the film for just a coffee or a meal the staff were excellent, they saved us a table in a quiet corner! Support this lovely cinema folks before it dissappears!

Where can you get £5 cinema tickets these days? The Reel/Odeon is a great cinema, all the latest films. Easy to park in Loughborough and lots of bars/restaurants for before or after. They have an Italian restaurant on-site too. You can take food/drinks into the cinema to enjoy with your film! Sometimes the ticket queue is a bit slow so... More

Love this local cinema which has had a lovely art deco refurb aswell as showing a wide selection of films. Now owned Blythe odeon group but kept its decor and has a great pizza cafe on the front. Shame that it will probably be replaced by the new cine world complex!

Staff are always rude and they always have been in there. Very expensive considering the cinema screens etc. It used to be better back in the day than now.
