I found this pub my first night in Lowestoft and what a nice Gem. The surrounding were nice and the staff so friendly and helpful. I drank some Welsh Cider called Black Dragon which had a really nice taste. I will definitely visit this pub again the nrxt tim I am in town.

A true local just outside the centre serving its own Green Jack beers, social requirements being observed, outside seating on a warm afternoon made for a pleasant tasting experience checking out a few brews. Visit for the beer not the decor.

Normally a decent pub , first weekend after lockdown was ok beer had fizz and they had drinks in stock ,but by the 3rd weekend terrible only serving flat beer they had in stock vodka lemonade flat no other of changing my drink rude staff cash only normally always can pay buy card , not only that no hand dryers in toilets no paper towels should of done more , to make it safe!! If you ain’t got gas don’t serve flat drinks it’s so wrong or at least change it for the paying customer …

What an excellent pub, the beers were kept superbly and what a great selection of Green Jack beers. I hope they don’t mind me saying it’s a bit of a spit and sawdust type of pub, but I liked it. They do a nice selection of various filled rolls to help soak up the beer. I will certainly be back.…
