We stayed here on our boat from 4/8/21 for a few days while the weather was horrid, while cruising the coast from Poole to the Solent. Friendly staff, easy to book, flexible as we extended our stay day by day due to the weather. Shower block the best of any marina we have been to in northern France or South UK. Lymington town 10 minutes on foot up the river for shops restaurants and pubs, well stocked chandlery on site, and club restaurant. Recommended. As a cruiser I didn’t feel intimidated by sharing the facilities with testosterone fuelled racers as this was Cowes week.

It is some years since I stayed on a friends yacht that was moored in Lymington Yacht Haven, so this review is based on walking around the marina.
Lymington is a lovely spot to visit on our coastline & living in Dorset often visit Lymington.
The Yacht Haven is a lovely place to wonder around taking in the lovely views across ro Yarmouth & The Isle Of Wight, Mostly though it is just fab walking and admiring all the boats.
If you are feeling energetic you can walk further afield towards Keyhaven & Hurst Spit.

Hi places2seeplaces2go,
Thanks for your review and being so thorough!
Agreed - the coastline is stunning and a beautiful place to walk. For anyone interested, the coast path from Lymington to Keyhaven is approx. 8km (16km round trip). As mentioned, if you're feeling particularly adventurous then the base of Hurst Spit is another 1km beyond Keyhave, or you can take the ferry across to the end of the Spit.
Thank you again for the review, and we hope to see you back onboard a boat next time :-)

One of the few places in Lymington where you can find free parking. You can admire the yachts or access the paths along the Solent, or spend time at the Haven café or restaurant.

When I want to see what rich people do with their vast wealth I come here to look at the millions of pounds of yacht's floating around. Then I think of the state of the NHS and poor people using food banks and think mabye this money could be put to better use.
Come here if you want to see wealth flaunted and are wondering where all the money is.

One of two large marinas in Lymington. I believe they tend to match prices - which are not low. Better value to moor a boat with Lymington Harbour Commission who now have power and water on their river side Dan Bran Pontoon.

My favourite bar/ restaurant in Lymington.
Great food, service and ambiance.
Breakfast, lunch or dinner are all favourites
Plus the odd pint of Guinness.

Nice large marina, great facilities, most berths ok some a little tight BUT if you are unfortunate enough to be a situated on G pontoon near the yapping dog. and the charter boat on G23 that rents its boat out for hen parties it quickly turns into an absolute zoo, don't expect a quiet night

My son did his Powerboat Level 2 out of the Haven Marina last year. I wanted to show friends the marina and they were so impressed. Free parking, you can potter around and there’s always something to see

This certainly is a haven for yachts! There are all sorts and sizes of boats kept here and it is a lively hub, within a short walk of the town centre.
