Take a look inside - the interior is highly stencilled and decorated.
Both the organ loft and High Altar are very impressive in their own rights.
A lovely calm, quiet and peaceful retreat from the bustle of Lytham.

We walked past this church a couple of times and then decided to have a look inside, it is totally different than I expected, the ceiling is not like one I have seen before and is beautifully painted. The Organ loft is huge, with a fantastic Organ that almost looks like Angels wings. In the front grounds are a fishing boat filled with flowers and a small shrine to Our Lady.

Firstly, when trying to get in go straight on to the door with the crucifix on the glass and pull it - took me ages to work that one out ! Nice neat grounds with flowers/statues appropriately placed - but inside is the real gem where the stations of the cross adorn each wall and are further augmented by the stained glass windows. Another unattended church so stop a while and contemplate. You can view it free of charge. TIP: Park on the Prom. or on Lytham side streets to avoid Pay & Display fees at the bigger car parks.

Found this church by accident - lovely well kept grounds outside, and the inside is stunningly beautiful.
