Visited for drinks as my sister had never been before. Good service, well served G&T's and managed to get a table. Great atmosphere, great decor. Can see why it remains a favourite for locals, a proper pub.

Quirky place with a good selection of beers. Friendly staff and whilst the menu isn't huge, it has something for everyone at a reasonable price. Great 'powder room', in keeping with the pub's name and spotlessly clean. Would return.

Been lots of times over many years, consistently wonderful beer and from a broad selection too. There is quite a large outside bit with a few tables, not exactly a beer garden but next best. Bang on the edge of food street it's worth making...More

Lovely pub with outstanding choice of real ales and cider. Locally sourced food at great prices, nothing fancy but nonetheless delicious. Staff attentive and helpful. What a find!

On the face of it, lots of real ales, but choice disappointing, and some pumps inactive. All too often beers are too similar.More

Hi, I'm very surprised that you visited us and there were some pumps inactive. Our policy is to always have a great choice of quality ales and ciders at all times. The only explanation I could give is that some beers had gone and others...More

Thursday night and there were hardly any tables free once we got there. Bathroom very quirky & certainly a 'taps' theme apparent. Bought a bottle of flavoured cider for the train & didn't get much change from a fiver, I don't drink the stuff much...More

I was initially looking for somewhere different to take my friend for a pint whilst he was visiting the Blackpool area. They have an excellent real ale selection which we were both very impressed by. The staff are friendly and helpful. I returned for lunch...More

Great Little local traditional pub, excellent drinks selection, always busy but always plenty of bar staff, serve quickly. Great to see glass collectors and the place kept clean. Only slight downside is the temperature! It's always roasting

Hi, I've been going to the Taps for about 15 years, but it was refurbished about two years ago. There was concern about this, but it was well done and has not altered the character of the place. The outside addition is a... More
