We took our 3 nieces 5 7 8 years old they had the time of there lives, great fun on the slot machines , kiddies fun rides, freedom to let them walk around without having to worry, you can keep yoor eye out for them, and most of all it does not cost you a great deal of money. There are not many places today that offers this great deal of fun like this. Dont delay go today, you and yours will have a great time

Hi, I had a meal at the cafe today with my family. Food was fantastic, however the customer service was, well there was alot left to be desired! I asked one young girl where the toilet was for my 2 year old and was told out the door! No directions, then asked a young lad who then said the same thing and i said out the front door? He then explained out the side door and in the arcade (no mention of having to pay!). Very disappointed in the service, especially with the prices being a bit higher than a standard restaurant, you'd expect better service if not the same.
The chef did a fantastic job food was lovely.

When visiting St Anne’s beach over the last 5/6 years, we have always looked forward to a meal of fish and chips from the pier at St Anne’s, however this time they were awful (May 2022). The battered haddock tasted ‘fishy’ and ‘watery’ like it had gone off, the batter was soggy. I found the fish inedible and my children also refused to eat their fish (usually they love it and it is all gone). Also it is very expensive, which means a complete waste of money.
This fish and chip shop has gone downhill, I wondered if it has changed hands? Avoid.

whilst at ST Anns we visited the amusements arcade on the pier. having taken my 3 year old grandson to many UK sea side resorts we have always payed a visit to the arcade. We let him have £1 on the 2p machines and some of the children's rides.
as he is only 3 he's a little short for the 2p machans but every were we have been we have always found stools for small children to stand on. The arcade on the pier had none so my brother took a stool from the adult section, no one was in there playing and as there was several he thought it would be ok. however a member of staff approached us an aggressively shouted we could not take the stool and to put it back. we this erupted in to a heated argument. when my brother asked the member of staff what they had for small children , he responded nothing. So if your over 18 and willing to spend all your money on the adult slot machans you can have a seat. if your small they want your money but not you. They should have a sign out side saying under 5s not welcome

Will not be visiting the pier again. The car park is operated by a company named Minster Baywatch who automatically issue a parking charge of £100 to any vehicle entering the car park unless a pay & display ticket is purchased. This charge applies even if there are no parking spaces available. Please do not wait for a space to become available. Please use one of the alternative, regulated car parks provided by Fylde Council. The car park was chaotic when we visited making it difficult to turn around and leave after discovering there were no parking spaces. We exceeded the unpublished/not signed grace period and incurred a parking charge of £100 which I find utterly despicable and out of proportion considering they incurred no loss of income and we did not benefit from their services.

Be very careful when parking here, I have been issued two tickets unfairly in the past year. I am currently appealing the latest. They seem intent on making St. Anne's pier a no go area to visitors with these senseless fines!!!!!

This may be unfair but the rating is due to the incredulous parking charge we have been sent at the St Anne's pier Carpark. very little payment signage (we did not see any) and we had stopped to set sat nav so never left the car as all the streets were double yellow. Car park had 5 cars in it, it was a delight to find on my return from holiday a parking fine £100. The area was nice enough a bit run down but I can see why people are getting put off they want to make money from private parking companies.

The amusement arcade was a scream. Loved winning the tickets to collect for some fun prizes. Particularly enjoyed a machine that if your 2p coin landed on a duck/ bird it quacked/ chirped and I had the best laugh for ages. Played with an 88 year old starting with dementia and it brought a smile to her face.

I feel really bad only giving a poor rating. The reason that I have is that whilst it’s open, you can only go in a few feet and no further. There are a few arcade games/machines available to play but nothing else. I was hoping to be able to walk the length of it but I couldn’t.

The 914 foot pier was built at a cost of £18,000 for the St Anne’s-on-the-Sea Land & Building Company Ltd. It opened on the 15th June 1885 to the design of A.Dawson.
Extensions costing a further £30,000 were opened on April 2nd 1904 and included the famous 1000-seat Moorish Pavilion and various kiosks. The mock-Tudor lodge at the entrance had opened a few years earlier and the Floral Hall (in use by 1910) housed concerts, operas and vaudeville acts. Gracie Fields, George Formby, Russ Conway and Bob Monkhouse all performed at the pier. An amusement arcade was added to the entrance in 1954.

It is not, the sea is too far out to ever reach the pier.

On a nice day it’s a pleasant walk straight along the main road from Blackpool to St Anne’s.
Otherwise, get the bus - but check the bus numbers, there are two from Blackpool, one goes direct along the main road and takes about 10 mins, the other goes around the houses and takes 45 mins!!

I have recently been to Lythm and Parked at North promanade. came back to the car with a parking ticket of £60 if paid within 14 dys or £100 after. Has anyone had to pay a fine? or has anyone appealed? Absolutley disgusted

Hi, we went and the ticket machine wasn't working, my husband walked ages till he found one that worked , we didn't stay long either but I would appeal it though as there's always a chance they'll write it off - good luck
