Went to watch the up & coming amateur golfers trying to win the Lytham Trophy. It was played over 3 days on the Bank Holiday weekend at the beginning of May. There was a lot of very good golf played over the 3 days, & it went to the last hole of the final day. The event was well organised,... More

Had the opportunity to stay over night in the Dormy house and then play the next morning. Course was in great condition and the fairway bunkers were an awesome challenge. Loved the unique par 3 start. First 9 holes were played in a torrential downpour, and we could not have enjoyed it more. #8 i think is one of the... More

Very exclusive and famous. You'd better be a member or an invited guest. Absolutely top class in every respect. Not for the non-golfers and the boorish

The course lived up to expectations. We had seen it on TV several times when major golfing events had been played there. The course is parkland and no hills. There are hundreds of bunkers so beware! The ground around them feeds the ball into the bunkers and they are tricky. The greens were true and not too fast. A great... More

Excellent course in very good condition. Bunkers are challenging but overall a great experience. Recommend having a meal in clubhouse restaurant overlooking 18th hole.

Must be one of our best experiences ever and ranks alongside "Sawgrass" and "Hilton Head" for the shear pleasure of playing a "championship course"

Probably one of the best, most well looked after golf courses I've ever played. But 365 bunkers!! Keep out if you can. Great staff.
