We fortunately booked our canoe trip with Ross-on-Wye canoe hire which we would highly recommend (especially over Wye Pursuits) there are also many other canoe hire places in the area so please do your research and book elsewhere. We had stopped off at Kerne bridge as my partner needed to find a toilet. She asked a member of staff (or... More

We are a family group 5 adults and 4 children, aged between 6 yrs and 11yrs. We had a fabulous afternoon kayaking down the river with this company. It was a lovely opportunity to experience stunning views and lots of unusual wildlife. We found it very leisurely. The only thing we'd improve were the toilet facilities.

As a family of 5 we hired two canoes and set off: well I had to learn how to steer first! We made our way down 8 miles of the Wye gently assisted by the current. There were plenty of places to stop for lunch and well water fights along the way. We had an amazing day out and were... More

Fantastic service wonderful instructors -struck the right balance of fun, adventure and safety. thanks to Guy and the team especially Nathan and Rhys. We can't recommend these people enough . It was lovely to meet Guy, Sonie and their fantastic team. They were unflappable, efficient and incredibly nice. We did a full day of canoing and raft-building on the river Wye and It was a relief for me and the other team organiser to hand our unruly and perhaps unlikely bunch into their very calm capable hands. We had a... More

we were a party of seven.Six guys one, girl. We were rushed down the river and very much made to feel like we were on a deadline.Speaking to other groups from different tour companies,I wish I'd looked around before booking. You're probably only going to do this once so my advice is try someone else.

I am very concerned to read about your bad experience whilst canoeing the Wye I have gone through our booking records and can find no record of a group as described in your review taking part in our activity's I have also spoken to our team and no member has any recollection of a problem as you describe If you... Annual Explorer Scout camp took us out to this neck of the woods this year and we have to say that we had one of the best camps yet! We spent two whole days with Nathan, doing caving, climbing, abseiling, canoeing and raft building. What a mix! The canoeing provided a relaxing change to the tight squeezes and strains from... I took a group of 11 of my friends on a guided day of kayaking on the beautiful river Wye through Wye pursuits. We had an excellent day, perfectly situated to have superb access to the Wye just a few miles upstream from Symonds Yat. With two friendly and helpful guides and decent equipment we were well prepared for the... More

Amazing trip- the staff were great and responded kindly to our (sometimes silly) questions! We decided to cut the trip slightly short due to hangovers and wanting to visit the local castle and the staff at Wye Pursuits were completely flexible. They dropped us to our starting point at the beginning, sharing their local knowledge and expertise. Even the dog... More

We booked a full day of activities for a stag do group consisting of 14 people. The communication throughout the booking process and before/on the day was excellent. On the day we were met by our instructors Guy and Nathan who were great guys. Incredibly friendly and interesting. We did a half day of caving which was incredible and a... More
