Can’t wait for truffles to reopen - hopefully with delivery again. Pre lockdowns we frequented for salad boxes paninis - and of course the obligatory homemade cakes. The staff and owner are always friendly and stop to have a chat even if busy and they always talk to the children - making them like the place even more than the sticky biscuit cake and caramel shortbread did already! Some of the additional shelved items can be pricey but supporting local business is better than being overrun by chains and there is always something different and outside of the ordinary to be found. Incredible service! The several staff I spoke to were very friendly indeed - all just heart-warming! And in all honestly, the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. I seem to recall from our last trip that their coffee was very nice too. All just outstanding!…

Ordered a sandwich to take away asked to wait in the courtyard to the side of the Deli. With it taking 15 minutes to get our sandwich the small courtyard filed to capacity quickly and social distancing became impossible. Food was excellent and not over priced. Given the crowds in Ross over the peak holiday period I would suggest giving it a miss due to the lack of space around the village and none existent social distancing , if your grabbing a bite to eat from the Deli head down to the river to eat your fare crowd free.…
