So our travels have taken us from Lincolnshire, through Avoncroft and onto Ross on Wye for a look around and lunch. The temperature has reached 34 and we are now hungry.
After a little look around we were walking up the hill and came across Pots and Pieces. Wow we were lucky!
Track and trace completed, we were shown to a table and even though the person had a mask on you could see she was smiling.
I ordered the Brie and cranberry toastie with crisps. I could have added salad but too many bad experiences with tired lettuce and a mass of raw red onion put me off that part. What a mistake! My wife ordered the same as I but without the crisps and with salad. When it came it looked fresh, no onions and a fabulous dressing. Oh did I have salad envy 😩.
The toilet was clean and scented, the decor in the restaurant was beautiful with items for sale and thanks to eat out to help out the meal was half price!
Go there if you are in Ross it has lovely people working there, amazingly friendly and I could not fault service or food.

Paid two visits to the tea room in 2 days as we were really impressed with the food and service. Ideally situated right in the heart of the town had a delicious cream tea, the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend anyone to pop in if you’re in the area.

Pots and Pieces is the place to go should you wish to feel welcomed and a ease, unlike some cafe's you don't feel rushed nor do you get the generic welcomes and tosh you get at the likes of some other high street chains. Pots and Pieces located in the heart of Ross-on-Wye (which is a beautiful sleepy market town, I can say this because I live there and I love it), Is the best place in town if you want a nice pot of tea or coffee or even fancy a freshly made sandwich or handmade cakes then you cannot get much better.

We ate lunch here and had a sandwich and a toastie. Both were lovely. Service friendly. They do milkshakes which was a nice treat for me! All good.

Having made many visits to Ross on Why, i've had occasion to take a coffee break in all of its eateries most are dissapointing os some level, but Pots and Pieces never disapoints. It's tables are always clean. The staff is always efficient and friendly. The cakes are some of the best in england. And the gallery items are well crafted and interesting.

We called in for a break in our journey and were tempted in by the lovely selects of cakes in the window and the unusual gifts and decorations for sale. We shared a toasted sandwich and a tea cake and the lady serving us asked if we wanted to have the tea cake later so it would be hot, a lovely touch when we weren't spending very much. We did see a couple of little items for Christmas presents which was an unexpected bonus. A lovely little place with excellent staff and service. thank you.

We go to Pots and Pieces as often as we can. We are always welcomed so beautifully by Sara and David and also their staff who are friendly, courteous and efficient. The coffee is wonderful and their food really tasty and, for me who needs Gluten free food, I can't praise them enough for taking my requirements on board and ensuring that I can always get something to eat.
The range of gifts is marvellous and we have purchased lots of gifts for ourselves, family and friends, both here and abroad, and they have always been delighted with them.
Cleanliness and hygiene are also excellent and we take our visitors there when they come to stay with us....they have all been very impressed.... so thank you Pots and Pieces!

Having come for only a short stay, we only had a few hours in Ross on Wye before having to leave to go home. We mooched around the lovely square and they had a small market on selling local produce and second hand books. This worked up a thirst so we went in to Pots and Pieces. Such a lovely and welcoming tea room/ shop that sold some lovely things. Amazing cream tea!! Its was very busy in there but the staff were lovely. There was a particular lady who I think may have been the owner. I felt very welcomed by her. Its a must if you're visiting!!!!!
