We really enjoyed playing the course. The greens were outstanding. The only downside to our day out was the attitude of certain other members. We were not holding anyone up or interfering with anyone. But theses people were very obnoxious and rude. We were playing with a current member who had a word with this person. At the end of... We were shocked to find that from 1st April green fees have been vastly increased. A reciprocal round is now £17.50 and a round on the County Card a whopping £30! The course doesn't warrant those prices which I understand were introduced as an alternative to increasing membership fees. No doubt they'll rue the decision when the amount of green... More

Lovely to find a course that doesn't attempt to alter the landscape. Superb greens and a welcoming clubhouse. We will definitely return.

The lunchtime menu is limited in scope to sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, home made soup and light dishes like mushrooms on toast or chicken and ham salad. All the food is prepared on the spot and the service (you order and pay at the bar) is quick. Prices very reasonable.

This is a lovely moorland course on Dartmoor, with beautiful scenery. A great experience playing golf amongst the ponies and sheep!

Pleasant and friendly staff and fellow guests. Lovely view of the moors. I noticed many golfers were young and carrying their own clubs. Looked like a relaxed place.

We were guests. We've never been to a golf club function before, but were struck by the lovely surroundings, beautiful place settings, delicious food and fantasticly efficient service by the very young wait staff. The members were very friendly and welcoming, too, to us strangers (although we did go with long term members).

We use the golf club as our 'local', it's really welcoming with very well priced meals, good beer and a view to die for across the moor - what more could one ask for?

Friendly atmosphere both in the clubhouse and on the course. The course, whilst not overly covered in gorse or trees, needs to be played with due respect if a good score is to be carded. Many greens are narrow and have difficult to read borrows.

We live just around the corner to the golf club. We usually visit it a couple of times a week. Good food and the best view you will ever find
