The pannier market is a lovely find, located just behind the main high street. A great mixture of shops and stalls. Dont forget that aswell as the covered stalkls, there are some super shops on the outside.

Tavistock Pannier Market is well worth a visit. There is such a variety of stalls, many with lovely original crafts. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit there towards the end of October 2018 and the weather was beautiful. Enjoyed a lovely ice cream from the van...More

Visited the market and was pleased to see it has not changed. Still a wide variety of stalls offering a multitude of different wares. Only slight problem is that it is so full it is difficult to get along the walkways to see everything.

A fascinating market that caters for a variety of tastes and requirements. You can find anything in here fro tools and fixings clothing and pictures, vegetables and flowers, cakes and confectionery. Plus Bob's East End Cafe provides excellent food and refreshments at reasonable prices.
