One of the real benefits of living here on the edge of Dartmoor is that The Wharf has become a home from home for me. Having come from a really wild pub in Southampton to the 'relative tranquility' of Tavistock, it's a delight to find...More

The exhibition we went to see had been removed 'due to circumstances beyond our control'. What these circumstances were we were not told. I had checked the website the day before - there was nothing there to inform potential visitors that the exhibition had closed...More

We apologise profusely for this situation, the exhibitor removed their paintings without notifying the venue or giving notice and despite numerous attempts to contact the artist this has proved futile. We can assure the reviewer that normally our exhibitions run smoothly and that this situation...More

Loved it - quaint, community run venue, really cheap drinks and a great line up of bands and comedy, etc that I’d come back for!

This is a small but good venue. It puts on a variety of events and has a lot of groups and tribute bands play there

Hi Jayne, the cinema is on the ground floor and there are no steps to be negotiated so ideal for wheelchair access, plus disabled toilet in the foyer. On same floor is coffee shop and bar too.
