Such a beautiful walk have to force myself to walk somewhere different in case it's spoilt by overfamiliarity. Personal preference is for circular walks so usually I start over the viaduct with great views over the town continue along the old railway path to Crease...More

With or without a dog to accompany you, this canal provides a lovely walk and gives you the chance to see Tavistock away from the roads. Interesting piece of Devon's history, celebrating 200 years this year.

It’s the tow path and canal, with water! The water flows towards Morwellham as the canal was created to slope very slightly.
