Visited Sheffield Park for the first time. The gardens were amazing and the portfolio of trees were incredible. We even found ourself a lovely little olive tree, which was the absolute highlight of our day.
As a non national trust member I was greeted and treated like part of the family still on arrival which was lovely.
Truly a revitalising experience and will be visiting again for sure with family.
I didn’t get to go in the cafe but the food looked great too.

First ever visit. What a fabulous garden. The landscaped grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Lots of interest. Lovely cafe and shop. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely return again.

Unfortunately we missed the autumn colours but that did not matter because this is a stunning place at any time of the year. There are so many ways you can meander around on well maintained paths. Most are wheelchair and pushchair friendly, with those that are not being suitably marked. Dogs, on leads, are also allowed. Everywhere there is a photograph to be taken and, when you have finished walking, there is a good cafe for drinks and/or snacks. Dogs are also allowed in the Garden Room at the cafe.

Absolutely loved our visit yesterday, very beautiful and autumnal, so many stunning trees, good signage on walks, cafe was busy but very good coffee. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

We went along to see if the trees looked as beautiful in their autumn colours as they seem to in photos. And they do! A variety of walks took us past the autumnal shades. Even a mini forest bathing experience occurred. Who needs New England in the autumn when you have Sheffield Park garden?

We recently visited this National Trust Property and had one of our best visits this year. However, big mistake we went in the recent schools holiday and with the overflow park car closed it took over an hour to get parked up, also whilst the venue was crowded it did not spoil our day, the garden and grounds were very well maintained and the colours were magnificent especially those reflected in the lakes.
The shop and tea rooms were both clean and tidy and certainly worth a visit.

Great autumn colours as described. Beautiful setting for a long walk. Lots of paved footpaths. Muddy in the woods and off the main path but still so much to see without this. Huge selection of shrubs and trees. Shop and toilets available. I didn't use the cafe. Very busy when I visited so a wait for parking, even though we booked.... But it didn't ruin my experience. I would visit again.

We went Friday 5th. We booked for 10.00 car park quiet straight in. The colours are truly amazing. We had a lovely walk around just a few very muddy patches. By 11.30 we decided to to leave noticed how busy it was getting having to keep walking around people lots wanting to stop take photos got to car park and it was heaving cars were by now parking across the field n an overflow car park and cars at this point being stopped down the road from coming up and being directed so quite a tail back. We didn’t go to the cafe dread to think what they were like for people as they are letting far too many people in even with the booking system dread to think what it’s like afternoons and weekends.

What is the point of having a booking system if you turn people away not once but twice on arrival because the site is full and can't cope with more visitors? We ended up parking a mile away and walking there. Hardly the welcome we were expecting especially as we are members of the NT. If you can't cope with the numbers, surely the answers is to reduce the number of bookings per day unless of course you want to alienate your members. Not sure we'll be renewing our annual subscription.
