I have visited Spa Beautiful for a Deep Tissue Massage. I have asked for a massage with firm pressure and I was not disappointed. The massage was relaxing and absolutely perfect. I have had many massages before, but not a single one was nowhere near the quality as this one. The atmosphere of the waiting room is really relaxing, the staff super friendly and the tea room is super cute. Having a massage at Spa Beautiful is a whole relaxing experience, the one you are looking for after a stressful time :)

I recently visited Spa Beautiful with a friend to celebrate my birthday. I booked a 30 mins facial and a mini tea party in their vintage tea room.
The facial was heavenly and the therapists who treated us were extremely polite and caring! We even got a shoulder, foot and hair massage in addition to the facial! Very pleasant and relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Also, the tea party was very good. We were served delicious, homemade treats and the atmosphere was just perfect. The staff were very sweet and we are very grateful for their hospitality. Would definitely go back! 😊

Had £150 voucher as a gift from my sister.
Availed the Spa Solace, Media Spa Manicure and Media spa pedicure.
The spa solace was okay but the manicure and pedicure is not worth your money.
It’s literally just soaking your hands and feet few minutes (didn’t even last 2 mins in my appointment) then just applied nail polish. Website description makes it sound and look pampering but its not!
The media spa pedicure is described as:
Treatment starts with a light scented soak using powerful humectants followed by cuticle work all buffed out with a skin smoothing exfoliating gel to polish and refine your skin.
First of all, I thought I would experience sufficient time for a feet soak to soften my toes. But literally the lady just put water and let it bubble for few seconds and asked me to dip my feet. Then asked me to take out my feet not even 3 minutes! That’s not a soak- that just a quick dip! There was also no buffing work done! Just literally wiped my feet and toes then applied nail polish! Common in your website it says 45 mins and you charge £38.50 for that?! I could’ve just then stayed home and did it myself. My pedicure didn’t even last half of the time of 45 mins. It is the same for my Media Spa Manicure that you say lasts 45 minutes for £44!
Website describes the treatment as “Treatment starts with a light scented soak using powerful humectants followed by cuticle work all buffed out with a skin smoothing exfoliating gel to polish and refine your skin and nails.” Sorry but I was expecting for cuticle work but it was just the hand soak on a bowl, bit of squeezing the arms, wiped then lotion applied and the nail polish done. Another lady had her nail polish who was ahead of me for about 10 minutes. I ended up with my “spa manicure” finished at the same time the lady who was ahead of me. It wasnt 45 mins but just 20mins. I dont mind spending money for these spa treatments but its overpriced for the service they offer. I’ve been to many spa salons and this is the first time I am completely disappointed with the service. Will definitely not going back and won’t recommend to family and friends I know.

I booked the High Tea experience for my mums birthday but sadly we won't be returning.
Positives...
Staff in the tea room are really nice and the tea room is very Vintage in style and refund and apology given without hesitation.
Negatives....
Overpriced,No Atmosphere, vintage music apparently is played in the background as per the website, there wasn't any music playing. Spa staff use this as a dining room too, I was very surprised when one of the staff came in with her Greenhalghs bag and sat and had her lunch, may i should have done the same and nipped to Waterfields! The sandwiches were made with stale bread and too be honest were not the tiny 2-3 bite dainty sandwiches i was expecting which should be minus the crusts, they were more like over filled stale door stop butties you would get in a truckers cafe. Scone choice was taken as we arrived and were told these would be warmed, however these came with the sandwiches and surely would have been cold when we would have got round to eating them? Needless to say we never got to try anything other than one bite of the sandwich and left.
I was saddened by what was promised and what i had hoped to share with my mum on her birthday. We will not be returning.

I took my mother to the spa as a surprise for her birthday and we were both very pleased with our experience. The staff were very friendly and accomodating and made us feel relaxed. We had afternoon tea and the soul retreat treatment. We loved our treatments, the back massage was fantastic and the products left my skin feeling really soft. We would definitely go back.

went on a rainy Sat afternoon as a spur-of-the-moment thing with my 6yr old daughter who was very excited to be going out for a special 'date' with just me. Reception said no problem that we didn't have a booking, and the waitress was OK with my request that the 2 of us just share a single order of high tea. Good job we only ordered one! There was LOADS and the 2 of us actually didn't manage to eat the entire stack of sandwiches and cake that came out to us. Delicious breads were used for the sandwiches and the effort had clearly been made to find interesting flavour combinations, in particular there was a houmous/veggie one which was very good indeed, and the lemony chicken one deserves a mention. Scones were great, cream & jam all good, we enjoyed different kinds of brownies and cakes, plus there was a cheeky little truffle for me and some fresh strawberries for my daughter. Had fun pouring proper tea and using the milk jugs, and the decor and ambience was just delightful. She is looking forward to her next visit to "the beautiful cafe" and is telling all her friends! As am I!

A voucher for deep massage, facial and afternoon tea was bought as a present.
A lovely relaxing atmosphere absotbs you as soon as you enter the building. Once we had filled in our medical questionnaire, we were taken through to a rather cramped changing area - more of a cupboard really, which came as an unwelcome surprise when compared to the large, spacious reception area. I went with a friend and once we'd changed and put our belongings into cheap looking lockers (several weren't working on the day. Such a poor first impression doesnt really give an air of confidence. Makes you think the tretaments will be similarly "cheap". Better changing area and sturdy lockers would allay any such fears) we were introduced to our individual therapists and led off to seperate treatment rooms.
Tereatments were DIVINE...wow, cant praise the therapists enough! It was absoutely wonderful and my therapist was happy to cope with my extremely ticklish back and change the massage accordingly. The facial was equally lovely and the products used were of high quality.Temple Spa is a brand based on botanical actives, natural ingredients, essential oils and reduced chemicals. They left my skin feeling soft and luxurious and several people commented later on my glowing complexion.Once the tretament was complete, I was led to the relaxation lounge to wait for my friend.
We had afternoon tea booked as part of our package and this too was excellent. I was concerned that my request for vegetarian option, no mayo, no mustard etc might prove to be too awkward. I neednt have worried. It was beautiful and my dietary requirements were dealt with minimum fuss.
Tea is served using vintage china, pot of tea and cafetiere were topped up on request at no extra charge. The foood was lovely and substantial enough that we asked if we could take our scones home (HUGE and deliciously fresh) No problem.
We left the place feeling relaxed and happy and would certainly recommend it to others. .
My only quibbles would be the lack of a decent changing room area and poor facilities for storing belongings lets down the luxurious air the rest of the business tries to potray. No locks on the toilet door. My friend found it more difficult to relax and enjoy her treatments as her room was located upstairs and opened up close to the pedicure/relaxing lounge area. Unfortunately there was an excited party in and the noise carried. Downstairs rooms are the ones to request if you find it difficult to switch off and relax when surrounded by noise.

I have visited Spa Beautiful three times now. The first two were good. No.1.Had the afternoon tea package to include a relaxing pamper of two treatments with my friend. Changing area EXTREAMLY small with nowhere to sit. Just lockers to put your belongings in. Nice ambience. Relaxing environment, although we were left in the relaxation lounge a little too long waiting for our food. Apparently there was a lack of communication - we were supposed to have been told to make our way down to the tea room. To be honest I think that they had forgotten about us. The therapists were lovely and friendly, but we were disappointed with some of the products used. We had a manicure and the varnish used was very thick and the finish was not smooth. This was removed as soon as we got home. Bit of a waste of money there, but still we went home feeling relaxed and wanting to return.No.2 Visit was a charity night. Very busy and a bit too cramped and had to wait quite a while for our treatments, even though they were offered at a discounted price we did have to wait too long and ended up feeling that we were rushed through. BUT, It was for a good cause I suppose. Visit. No.3. Different again. Not good. Décor now seemed a little tired. No locks on the toilet door and broken ones on the lockers. Changing area dirty-ish and we were left hanging around waiting to go through for our treatments. I sustained a small injury during this visit, but unfortunately the staff showed no interest, sympathy or offered any help to rectify. Customer service - there was none. Sorry Spa Beautiful you have let yourself down. I won't be returning.
