Visited 19th. Times of opening a little confusing and directions to entrance from road to parking more so. Buildings and collection totally absorbing for the entire afternoon. Well presented buildings and shelters outside too. Payment by cards would be useful.

Were in the area so called in,being ex RAF my expectations were to high, it is free,( donations expected). Not really a lot there for me but wife enjoyed it.

The museum is a treasure and shows how big the American Base was. We have also attended excellent lectures organised by the Heritage Centre.
