This wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea! They've put out more chairs so you can have your lunch from the tea shop sitting among the exhibits in the room to the right. Very novel. I like this eatery - the sales are fresh and tasty, although they certainly aren't cheap. Service is friendly and smily, helping you to feel part... More

My recent visit to the Art Gallery cafe was surprisingly disappointing. Considering the peaceful, content mood of the art gallery itself, the cafe was very noisy. I took a seat on the upper balcony which I thought would be a pleasant setting but the partially open floor allowed the noise and clatter from the counter below to bounce up and... More

What an excellent exhibition of wildlife photographs, all of superb quality; even more amazing was the age of some of the contributors. The level of talent and skill on display was truly staggering, worth every penny of the ticket price and one of the best exhibitions I have seen in a long time, well done all at Wolverhampton Art Gallery... Every time we visit they have great exhibitions on and try to engage every age group, it is a great place to visit with children. They have a great variety of exhibitions, something for everyone. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The refurb they are doing promises to make it even better, really looking forward to seeing it.

Amazing improvements and some are still going on. If you have never visited you will be amazed,if you have visited in past see the changes. It is best to visit when you have 2-4 hours and not in a hurry. Also advisable to have realistic expectations which are not too high. Good idea to have a break for coffee tea... More

Saturday afternoon visit. I used to really like visiting here bit standards at this gallery are very much falling: Shabby, dirty and dusty galleries in need of attention Peeling paintwork and worn wallpaper. Uninspiring exhibitions. Broken audio points. No visible gallery staff. Rubbish left in public lift. No gallery staff to ask questions. Card machine in coffee shop broken. Coffeeshop... More

I regularly go into Wolverhampton art Gallery when I am in town, it has always been a good gallery when my children were young we never went to town without a visit to the art gallery and my daughter now does the same with her child. they have some excellent exhibitions.

My children love coming here and seeing the latest exhibits, also not many people know about it but i think around 5 past every hour the big silver wolf in Sheeps clothing comes out from the balcony outside with red glowing eyes and smoke from its nose, something my kids look for now every time we're in the town.

I last visited here over 30 years ago and I decided to take a young person here who is new to the City, and what a informative afternoon we had. There is plenty to see and read about. There are also audio available so you can sit and listen to history. You can also dress up in Elizabethen wear (if... More
