Fantastic micropub, and it is very small, where conversation is unavoidable and all the better for it. Three well kept real ales and, at least while I was there, two real ciders and a Perry. A must visit pub for any lover of great pubs.

Nigel & Deborah really know their stuff - excellent range of beers and ciders with all the knowledge you could ask for. Limited space as it's a micropub but honestly couldn't fault it. If you love Sussex breweries get yourself there pronto!
It is very small, but so friendly, everyone talks to each other, the local (Sussex) beers and ciders are very good and well kept. There are some real characters get in there and it's just a lovely, inclusive atmosphere.
You enter through a ‘tardis’ into the tiny bar. They promote local micro breweries and have 3 barrels on at a time. They also have local cider and Perry. You can have a pint, a half or three 1/3 measures if you want to taste...More
