Not family friendly
Aug 2021
I would of like to sample some of the drinks there. But the owner said no kids aloud. I was even crosser because there were dogs in there. So my children who are human and i will buy drinks for cannot come in. But animals who just sit there, take up lots of space, smell bad and dont buy anything to drink are aloud in? So sick of this being the case in so many places now…

Couldn't leave without visiting...
Oct 2020 • Friends
Myself and my friend have been planning a visit to this little pub for sometime, we finally made it. After finding it very easily from the station, we unfortunately made the mistake of not checking the opening times and realised we would not be able to go until the following day. Luckily having an overnight stay booked, we could come back. Which we did. Knowing the pub landlord would be quite surprised when he saw us made it all the more special. All beers and ciders are local as is the wine. A very small, quaint place just away from the seafront, lovely.

Definitely my favourite drinking venue no visit to Worthing is complete without stopping here for a pint. Its quirky and the layout of the tables and chairs are such that you cannot avoid getting into discussions solving the worlds problems.Great host with eclectic mix of customers.Good range of beers and local wines and a catering arrangement with the cafe next door.

Great people good beer
Sep 2019 • Business
I go here around once a month and thankful to a work colleague for introducing me. Good cask beer but great people. It’s intimate atmosphere allows conversation to flow. Great hosts in Nigel and his wife who look after us all. It tends to start off as a small conversation that becomes a much wider debate for all. It’s a special pub with great people. Mick one of the locals is courteous and friendly. Be back in a few weeks. 2 years I’ve been returning from the North East.

We vist Worthing 3 times a year to visit family, and found this little gem.
Lovely couple who own the place Everything they sell is produced in Sussex.
It is small and very friendly always different ales to try and if you don't like ale, local Gin,wine and soft drinks available.
Conversations in there are great, as everyone joins in.

Jul 2019 • Couples
Visited Worthing for a night and found this micro-brewery. Very friendly couple who own this little gem. Nice selection of beers and small selection of wine. Lovely atmosphere - would definitely come again.

Ale
Feb 2019 • Friends
Popped in with 3 mates for a drink. Stayed for a few.

Nice range of ale and cider, also sells spicy pork scratchings.

Lots of bits and bobs to check out, the landlord Nigel knows his beer and always happy to help with your selection.

They change regularly, so won’t recommend anything!! Try the “spitfire seat”...

Don’t go to a typical pub, try this gem.

Great micropub.

Fantastic micropub, and it is very small, where conversation is unavoidable and all the better for it. Three well kept real ales and, at least while I was there, two real ciders and a Perry. A must visit pub for any lover of great pubs.

So Friendly
Oct 2018 • Friends
We were staying in Worthing, had been to the Anchored Micro Pub before & thought we must go back. We did & we loved it. This place is so friendly. As soon as we walked in, people said Hello. With a Nice range of Beers & Perry's, this is 1 for the Ladies as well as the Men. If you fancy a Good Pint with Friendly People, Pop In.
