The grounds have been left unkept and the same goes for the cafe since the new owners have taken over. We used to visit often and now it is the las spot to visit.

Take a break with tea and cake whilst watching the bowls. Old fashioned traditional tea room /restaurant. Worth another visit with the added bonus of being able to watch the bowlers when in season.

Well kept park just off the promenade. Putting green available if you are interested - we watched the local bowling match from one of the outdoor tables adjoining the café. A very pleasant venue particularly on a warm summer day.

We love putting and had a daily challenge, fair price and varied course but not too difficult even for a newcomer to putting.
