Lovely woods. Does the art improve them?
May 2019 • Couples
Worth seeing the artworks. Some of them integrate sensitively with the woodland, which is beautiful. Some integrate about as well as fly-tipping, which you'll also see in this woodland if you walk far enough.

Christmas Day walk
Dec 2018 • Family
Plenty of paths to take. Mostly easy walks, could do with more signposts. Popular with dog walkers. Plenty of parking. Sturdy shoes or boots are needed as the paths are quite muddy.

A walk in the woods - Bluebell time!
May 2018 • Friends
A lovely place to enjoy the calm and fresh countryside. Great for dog owners ( but take your poo bags home or find an appropriate bin please ) and fun for kids too, lots of easy to climb trees. At the moment, early May, the bluebells are carpeting the woodland, ideal for those fablulous photographs to share, and you are also likely to se a deer or two. Challock village is close by, so keep an eye out for the famous 'Grey Beast of Challock', but don't look behind you, just in case it does appear! Two nice places for tea on the Challock to Charing road too, both adjacent to the leas open space.

A bit odd
Apr 2017 • Friends
The walk is posted, it's a long walk and some of the 'arts' are not there anymore, and some are just weird. However King's Wood is just a lovely place to walk in especially in April when the Bluebells are out

Lovely views and walks
May 2016 • Family
This is a lovely place to walk whichever season it is. Bluebells in May (around the first bank holiday weekend) are always a beautiful sight.

King's Wood has been/is amazing for relaxation - & dog walks!
May 2016 • Family
I have walked / horse ridden Kings Woods for 30 years and it is the most relaxing & wonderful, enormous, variation of woodland. One can walk for minutes or hours (can easily lose track of where you are, but directive arrows help). Lose yourself (not literally) & enjoy.

wood land walk
May 2016 • Couples
Bluebells were excellent again this year. I Always make this an annual event. Can walk for miles or just a short walk, the choice is yours. Easy access, would not say it is suitable for wheelchairs. Great for children and dogs.

These delightful objects of art that have been created in Kings Wood to provide interesting scenes throughout the park. They also contribute to the great adventures my children dream up.
