I hate shopping but this was a pleasant experience.
For someone who hates shopping, I found this place to be quite good. Although the parking was busy, the footfall didn’t seem excessive.we spent about 3 hours here but I’m sure a serious shopper could spend a lot longer as there are good places to eat and drink. On the day we went, (Thursday), most shops were offering a further 20% off.

    Rude Churros Vendor
We’ve been regularly visiting this outlet for the past five years after moving to Kent it’s wall managed and we’ll organise clean and generally well maintained. But the manager or staff trainer of the Wagon Selling Churros the Spanish Sweet really upset my wife today. She shouted at her to get back in line after the young man serving ask us watch we would like first you have to pay she shouted out as if we were children waiting in her queue. Both of us in senior years but by no means without out faculties should have a little more respect shown but she was upset with everyone it seemed. After this dog bit back she showed no remorse shame. There was nobody to contact on the wagon so Ashford you need to deal with your street vendors the do not have a licence to be rude and there employers need reminding of that fact. Having spent a nice day an a pot of money shopping and dining on your site this king of memories we can do without.

A nice time, even if you don't want to shop
Lots of high end shops. Parking was very easy. We parked our motorhome in the coach park. Guest Services has a dog water fountain nearby. There is also rumour that doggie biscuits are sometimes offered. The place was clean and tidy. Cleaning staff were sociable, engaging and polite. I spotted a chap with a bubble gum removal machine, indicating attention to detail is high. My wife enjoyed the shopping and I enjoyed a slow circular walk around this large shipping venue.
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We are so glad you and your wife enjoyed visiting our beautiful centre. The rumours are true... we do have little treats for our furry visitors and love welcoming them into Guest Services! We take great pride in our cleanliness so its lovely to hear such positive feedback about our hardworking team we have here. We hope to see you again soon! Take care, Charley @ Guest Services

Designer Outlet Ashford is a large outlet in ashford. Has close by transport. Good number of signs for guidance.
Designer Outlet Ashford is a large factory outlet area with a large parking along with many boards and a guest service area. There are many good shops in reasonable prices. The transportation is also good there is a bus stop nearby and Ashford International railway station within a five minute walk to go to London or any other place. It is a must visit.
Welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a great review! We are certainly very lucky as a centre to have so many brilliant brands to choose from. Keep your eyes peeled on our Ashford Designer Outlet website for information on new store openings coming soon! Being just a 35 minute train journey from London makes us very easily accessible for day trips, so no excuses! We look forward to seeing you again soon. Charley @ Guest Services

    Bargain prices for quality goods.
Always love coming to the outlet for absolute bargains. Nike and Lyle & Scott are two of my favourites for buying things I'd usually pay twice or triple the price for in non outlet stores. Lots of shops to look around and parking is decent at £2 for up to 4 hours
Hi David! Thank you for a great review! Everyone loves a bargain don't they? The beauty of an Outlet centre is the amazing discounts we receive every day. Look out for special event days coming up where you can save even more on our already brilliant outlet prices! We look forward to seeing you for more bargains soon :) Kind Regards, Charley @ Guest Services

    Luxurious
The paving slabs are wobbling. I saw them today being scraped out from the sides causing them to be all wonky. Why are they doing that ? They are causing such a lot of damage and costing someone so much money. It is luxurious at ashford designer outlet and I like going there it is nice and quiet and it is s shame for idiots to ruin it like they do everything else

    Great fun day out
A really great variety of shops. So much to see and could have spent so much! Stores from designers to high street….. and I didn’t even realise there were Haribo stores!! A great day out all round
Hi! Thank you so much for a lovely review. We pride ourselves on our brilliant mix of brands within the centre and I am glad you enjoyed looking around all of them! Haribo is definitely a favourite of ours too...sometimes too hard to resist. We look forward to seeing you visit again soon. Kind Regards, Charley @ Guest Services

Great for shopping of any sort
The outlet always has new stores opening up, something new each time I visit. It’s the perfect place for shopping for any occasion, with something for everyone. Plenty of eateries too, easy to spend a day here.

    Tommy Hilfiger
Me and my friend visited Tommy Hilfiger last friday and couldn’t find this jumper i had been longing for. A couple members of their team directed me to their website where I found the jumper. The delivery service was excellent and I couldn’t be happier with the jumper. Amazing service all round.

    Good
I love the designer outlet and love going out there for dinner or shopping. Since it has been refurbished it has been so good and I love it. The only problem is expense but that isn’t a problem because you would expect it from the shops that are there. A perfect place to go if visiting Ashford.

A lovely new array of shops. The toilet and baby change facilities are lovely and clean and fresh. The praise stops here. Just absolutely nowhere to take the family for a cheap meal. Five Guys probably the best family friendly of the food on offer, but Five Guys isn’t cheap. The restaurant was badly designed with odd seating areas that were crammed into little corners. This is because whoever designed the new food area designed it with outside eating in mind. Nice but totally inappropriate for us Brits, who if we are lucky can eat outside for four months of the year. Who wants to sit outside eating hot food in the middle of January? My one year old granddaughter doesn’t want to eat in Wagamama, a Sushi restaurant or even a Lebanese restaurant (with all the big prices to match). The result was, we didn’t buy anything, we didn’t eat anything. We got in the car and went to Maidstone, definitely family friendly. Purchased what we wanted, ate what we wanted in the warm and with plenty of seats.
Sorry Ashford Outlet, you’ve scored a massive own goal by making this too upmarket and failing to make this more family friendly. We used to visit frequently, we won’t be back.

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to write your review and provide us with your feedback from your recent visit. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our toilet and baby changing facilities that we have to offer, as well as many of the new exciting stores that have joined us recently. There will be many more new stores joining us soon, please keep an eye out on our website for further announcements. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some of the eatery options that we currently have within our food piazza and around our centre. We understand that Five guys seating gets extremely busy during some periods, however we do have an extra unit of seating for our guests to take their food to sit down and enjoy (this is located next to Tripp). In regards to options for younger children, Pret A Manger offer childrens sandwiches, as well as the majority of our restaurants providing some yummy childrens menus for them to enjoy. However, please be assured that we take all feedback into consideration, and have therefore passed yours onto the food and beverage department to make them aware of your recent visit, to see what improvements we can look to make in the future. We apologise for any inconvenience caused upon your recent visit, we do hope that if you wish to return it would be a better experience. If you do wish to return you are more than welcome to show this message to one of our friendly hosts to receive a 10% privilege card to use in selected stores, cafes and restaurants for the day. Having been a fairly regular visitor to Ashford Outlet pre-COVID, the experience had been largely positive. However, following two successive recent visits it is clear that the ambiguity of government restrictions have made the shopping experience almost intolerable. The mandatory use of face coverings was meant to reassure shoppers and entice shoppers back. It appears that whilst shops are indeed enforcing this, they are also trying to enforce social distancing too. So much for the reassurance of face coverings. The result, large queues outside many shops, restricting one or two at a time entrance. To be fair, some shops were less strict in this respect but ambiguity of message is leading to many of the shops making their own rules up. For me, two visits unable to purchase what I had come in for unless I waited some considerable time to get in the shop only made me give up. This will kill shops and may I respectfully suggest that with Christmas on the horizon I, for one, will buy online rather than run the gauntlet of what is becoming a farce. How shops can survive when so many people are put off by waiting and made to feel unsafe is beyond me. Stick with face coverings and sanitisers but let people shop!

Thank you for your feedback. The safety of our employees and customers is paramount. The social distancing and safety measures we have taken to re-open our centre are in line with the most up-to-date advice from the health authorities and in accordance with Government regulation. We have provided hand sanitisers throughout the common areas of our centre and have adopted a cleaning regime that ensures public spaces and high touch points are regularly disinfected, this includes areas where food and drink will be consumed. We understand that these are difficult and challenging times and social distancing and larger queues are definitely something that we are all trying to come to terms with. We appreciate your support as a regular visitor and we appreciate your feedback. Kind regard.. Guest Services.

We visit Ashford designer outlet quite regularly. This was our first visit since the Covid started, so please bear this in mind for this review. Firstly, the centre is great, and has been extended, now that the construction is complete. (Our previous visit was during the construction for the renovating of the centre). Their are more shops, and a greatly improved “food court” area. The shops are as usual full of great deals and well stocked. And once inside the shops, which are restricting the number of customers at a time, you will certainly find some good bargains. However, having to queue outside every shop takes up a lot of time - your visit will take you at least 5 hours if you wish to visit almost every shop. Obviously this is not the fault of the centre, (to maintain this necessary health detail), so I have not given the centre a 5 star review, which nay be a bit unfair. The queuing is the only negative point I have. The parking is great, £1 per 4 hours, we were fortunate to park in the middle of the centre. Parking is well organised with attendants ushering you into areas with parking available. The food court is great, with a nice outside seating area available, although in winter this will be very exposed and cold. There is a greater choice of eating places. We ate at Five Guys, which was excellent, (and didn’t have a queue.) Overall, it’s a wonderful place for a shopping outing, IF you have the patience to queue, on the busy days.

Have been going here since it opened. A newly extended part is now complete though some units remain empty. There is a new car park near Asda which is a little further away. If you have a blue badge, hold it up,as you enter the roundabout to show the parking people and you will be able to go into the car park which is in the middle of the Outlet so closer to the shops. This always fills up first and they stop you from going in unless you have a blue badge. Lots of coffee shops now but my favourite is still Cafe Nero which has had a refit (apart from the toilets). I would use the loos in the middle of the general shopping area as they are much cleaner. The new Estée Lauder shop has great bargains but I understand it is only a pop up type shop for a year to see how sales go so I hope it stays...! I always find a bargain in there!

Not been to the outlet for months, parking is extremely confusing, the main car park was shut off and security telling everyone to use the overflow car parks. Upon exiting the car there were signs saying pay but no pay machines so everyone was walking around in circles ( it was pay & display )

The new area is lovely but there are still a lot of shops that are vacated, the busiest shop overal was Haribo !

Various eateries in the garden wall area, but quite expensive.

You still walk around in a U shape back to where you start, we went to pay for our parking ( you now pay when you leave ) but the car park machine only let's you pay for certain areas, totally confused we asked a security guard how the hell we actually pay for parking !! Only to be told our car par wasnt operational yet.

We walked back to the car only for more people to ask how they pay for parking.

More information signs are needed, where to pay / if things are not operational yet / you pay when you leave etc

Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we're sorry to hear that there was some disappointment and confusing on your recent visit with us. Our main car park may be closed at times if the centre is busy and there's no spaces left within the centre to park. It seems that you were directed to our Asda overflow car park, at present there are no pay machines in that car park meaning it is free for guests who park in there. In regards to the eateries I have passed your comments to the relevant department to look at review for the upcoming year. You may be pleased to know that we have many new exciting stores that will be coming to our centre this year, please keep an eye out on all our social media platforms for all brand updates. We have visited on many occasions over the years but given the current situation we are living in we read some reviews before visiting this October half term. After reading reviews we decided to get here early and I am glad we did. Arrived 20 mins after opening and got a parking space no problem.

All shops were quiet and we felt safe and happy wandering. Fast forward 2 hours and it was a different story. Queues forming outside and inside some shops it was hard to socially distance. I walked out of one as I was stressed at how bad it was.

Staff were friendly and helpful and when speaking to them it was clear that visiting early was a wise move. I saw some staff having to tell shoppers to keep their distance when waiting outside but I think security should of been more involved. Only saw one security officer patrolling at one point.

We took some lunch with us and ate it in the car and I am glad we did as we would of struggled to get something. Such a shame they took the food court away as it does limit you with what you can have now.

Will we return? Yes but maybe not for some time until life is a little more settled.

When we left cars were queuing to get in the main car park and people were being directed to the overflow car park.

My husband and I did discuss on the way home whether it was wise for a 20% event during half term and during a pandemic. Perhaps not!

We have just ended up spending two enjoyable days at Ashford designer outlet as arriving home on Friday we had lost a bag that I was carrying. This was a disaster as it was my wife's purchases that we had chosen together. I was very annoyed at myself for being so careless and for losing over £125 s' of new designer apparel that anyone would have been glad to find! Before we reconciled ourselves to losing these goods I thought I would see if there was a lost and found department at Ashford designer outlets. I googled Ashford pressed the green call button and it rang ..

I was expecting a machine with options followed by a re-connection to a department with a phone message telling me to write an email to lost property.. but no, what happened was amazing;

I was connected after just three rings to a very courteous human being!

The very professional and charming person was called James. He listened to my lost bag story patiently and then asked me to identify the contents of the Tommy Hilfiger bag that we had lost. It took James thirty seconds to explain to me that he had the bag with all the contents and that I could pick it up tomorrow using a reference number.

The next day James from customer services put the lost but now found bag in our hands straight away explained that a member of staff had handed it in to customer services after finding it on the pavement outside their shop! I offered to pay a cash reward for this display of honesty but it was politely declined as it is against policy to accept tips!
Ashford international designer outlet are to be highly commended for an excellent lost and found
system and for employing ,professional friendly charming and honest people. Thank you for looking after my family and I so outstandingly well. ❤

We were amazed and delighted to find out such honest people still care for others and

My wife and I , living only 12 miles away, frequently visit this outlet. Yes, it is crowded at weekends but that is a reflection of its popularity and value. Has been improved even more by the inclusion of more up market retailers who offer excellent value.
We visited this outlet last weekend and had the misfortune of our car breaking down. We received great support from their on-site team who were unfailingly helpful and polite and Arranged for me to leave the car overnight while we took a taxi home - which they arranged.
Not an experience we would want to repeat but the team were great - thank you sincerely.

A girls shopping trip. Had not visited here before and was pleasantly surprised by the number and range of shops available. Parking was very easy and cheap - we spent a whole day here and the charge was £2 so very good value for money. The shops are arranged in two long arches, mostly undercover with coffee shops and restaurants dotted between. The atmosphere was chilled and although the car park was pretty full it didn’t seem crowded at all. We managed to grab some great bargains so left very happy. Would definitely visit again.

I visited the Designer Outlet recently with my Step Mum. It was fairly busy but not crowded.
We found the outlet to be clean, tidy and friendly. Although there are a lot of empty shops there are still some could choices.
Parking was reasonable £1 for four hours but there seemed to be a lot of confusion at the machines regarding payments on arrival.
