Visiting Banbury
Sep 2021
Queen Bee bakery, super assortments. When in Banbury visit the shopping Mall and especially Queen Bee. Service with a smile, very refreshing. However the Mall has mooring bay and one can have lunch near water way watching boats passing by. On the second part there is fudge outlet next to Queen Bee where you can purchase assortments of fudges, this is for fudge lovers, amazing.

Poor place to shop save your time go elsewhere
Aug 2021 • Family
Unclear signage means some of the centre is and some of the centre isn't dog friendly!

BEWARE security guards giving you directions ours turned into a three mile walk to get back to the bit of the store that was dog friendly! When questioned why this was the case they said don't worry it will be open to dogs in a few days wtf! REALLY !

Their is reason why these forums exist its to give people a real understanding of poor places that operate this is one!

By the way the shops are empty with no main line shops available save your time do not visit.

Disappointing
Jul 2021 • Couples
Shopping centre has a mixed choice of shops. Eating areas a disappointment and a lot more could be offered to make use of location next to canal.

Boring and run down.
Oct 2020
This shopping centre is now very boring to visit and now has many closed and boarded up shop windows (a bit like the High Street in Banbury too). There are no new shops, nothing different and nothing worth going there for apart from your urgent essentials from the common shops that you find in any other town.

Good shopping
Dec 2020
Good example of town centre shopping. There is a great choice of shops for retail experience. It is clean and has a safe feel. Worth visiting in town.

Very happy HMV is still there. This branch is the only one near me. Very much a treat. Sad to see M&S go too. The Entertainer is entertaining

Buzzing Atmosphere
Aug 2020
I have been back to the shopping centre a couple of times recently, and it was nice to visit the centre once again. The place was buzzing when I visited, with lots of people there. Of course, there are the distancing rules to be aware of, but that is not a problem and most people were wearing face coverings. Most of the regular shops were open, but it is a great shame that M&S has closed its town centre shop(now you have to visit the 'out of town' outlet)as that was always worth a look. It is pleasing that HMV is still there, and there is plenty of activity the other end with a new 'food hall' section(although a lot of the products were very expensive!)being opened. It has always been a great shopping centre, and with the extension that's being built, it should hopefully attract the customers back in greater numbers.

Helpful staff
Oct 2019
Lovely shopping centre next to canal and car park. Plenty of variety of shops and good toilet facilities. The centre staff were excellent. Had to ask a member of staff about something and she went above and beyond to help us. Thank you so much to that lovely lady.

Very Popular Shopping Centre
Aug 2019
Ever since it was built, the Castle Quay Shopping centre has been a great success. I really like it here, as there are plenty of shops and of a great variety. The beauty of this place is that the shops here are ones that the general public really want to buy from( not many designer names here!)and the centre has been well-designed. It is always busy here, which must say something of its popularity. There are plenty of opportunities to grab a coffee(the town centre is just outside, where there are more eateries), some decent toilets and an adjacent carpark. The local Tourist Office can also be found here, as well as the museum which is always worth a look. An ambitious new extension is planned(as a result of this building work there are not so many parking spaces at present), but I myself am quite happy with the centre as it is. Certainly well worth visiting in its own right.

Easy parking, modern clean shopping centre
Jun 2019
We popped in for a browse, and were pleased with both the cleanliness and variety of shops. Also managed to get the car cleaned while we shopped.
