There is something for everyone at Wat Tyler from Country walks to historic cottages to WW2 history to miniature railway to play parks. Another great place to let loose with a camera.

Wanted to get some fresh air with my nine year old daughter and found plenty of places to explore here!! There are assault course type parks here too they are set into age categories which look good but were so absolutely packed we have them a miss and stuck to exploring and our picnic, took a ball also and found... More

It's great for walks, with the family , own your own , with the dog , with the other half, has a museum, swings, slides, your very close to the dump and the water some lovely views and some not lovely views has its own charms

We had a lovely day here wonderful nature reserve, ever facility there for you to use, play park, picnic areas, food places, toilets , free parking, we stayed here for hours enjoying the scenery, fields and just walking through the nature reserve, playing for hours........

Beautiful scenery with parks, lakes and woods. There is a river at the bottom with benches to sit and watch the boats. A large cafe too although a tad pricey.

went in hunting for the south Essex wildlife garden as in the area. Spent a couple of hours here. Parking is free, but spaces are tight if you have a large car, I saw two cars bump into cars behind them trying to get out of spaces, (no damage done though) The park is large, café and toilets on hand.... More
