I’ve taken the time to post this review as wished to save IOW visitors from wasting their holiday spending money !!
Bought 3 bars of different flavoured £2.95 fudge , fortunately tasted one … awful,… cheap, artificial,,tasting sweet stuff . Nothing like real fudge. Certainly not good enough to give as gifts .

On returning to the Cider barn shop and explaining my disappointment was resentfully and eventually given my money back. Previous smiles for all customers was turned quickly into something else .
My ONLY unpleasant experience on such a beautiful island.BEWARE 😠

Visited here twice in September 2021 and brought some ginger beer and 5 litre bottle of Med Sweet cider. The cider is very pleasant. The shop does not offer tasting but it is very interesting it sells beers, ciders, chutney, fudge and a nice selection of relishes.

We bought a bottle of their Ginger Beer and when we opened it, it exploded so fast and loudly, we thought a gun had been fired. Nearly all of the ginger beer went all over the floor (and ceiling). We hadn't taken the bottle anywhere unusual or shaken it up at all - it nearly took my partner's eye out!

We popped into this place during a visit to the model village and I was pleasantly surprised at how many options there were of ciders, coffees and even jams/marmalade’s/chutneys. I actually came away from this place with a lovely tin of ‘Isle of Wight Company’ lemon crumble biscuits.

Do NOT buy from this shop!! They are cheats. Charging tourist more than expected. Got a bottle of gingerbeer and jar of honey (no price on jar). Went to pay and expected it to be under £20 but it was over £32. Was in a hurry and didn't think to question them on the price and just paid, thinking back they must have cheated me as I am a foreigner. They didn't even give me a receipt.

on the main road in Godshill , and worth a visit to get goodies to take home - if you don't try them all while still on holiday !
An incredible range of cider, scrumpy, fruit wine, ginger beer, jams, mustard, garlic preserves, chocolate - that can be bought individually or in gift type sets.
I bought a medium cider which was lovely but rather strong so heaven knows what the strong cider was like ( but will try if I return again ha ha )
Pop in here, take your pennies with you and enjoy the produce or buy for others - also got a lovely garlic mustard which adds a lovely boost to salads and cheese toasties.

Drink, jams, chutneys and rock. In short you can seemingly buy anything here. Spent a fortune but products that you cannot buy elsewhere...

Pleasant shopping experience - friendly staff and seemingly good range of amusingly named ciders - but got my “Rumpy Pumpy Scrumpy” home to find it was vinegar! Yuck.
