It's amazing to see Folkestone from The Arm! Bars, cafes and entertainment are varied and welcoming, as are the staff. Spend an hour or a day, you can't get bored. Parking is easy but it is also well placed for short or long walks.

Had already had lunch, been around the shops and fancied an Ice Cream, this was to be our destination, very well received, I actually learnt that Folkestone has quite a nice little beach, will return without the kids for Rocksalt ;-)

Folkestone could be such a destination for weekenders... Great town with cobbled streets, little shops and a charming feeling. However, all changes when you reach the harbor side - unpleasant loud pubs with drunken people, dirty streets, food and packaging all over the pavements, harbor...More

I've been watching the works ongoing around Folkestone Harbour and see front for the last year and am delighted to see the finished article. Clean, well presented and accessible. A lovely place for a walk.

What a gem Great little beach at low tide. Shallow water and very clean. Lots of fresh seafood to buy. Great little area with water fountains for children to play in. Great value for money when buying ice cream from the hut.

Do you have loads of money???...come along.....no money?.....forget it....this place is full of pretentious over priced bars and stalls selling nothing you can't get much cheaper elsewhere.

No I don't think so but plenty of parking really close and reasonable at £1 an hour for such a great place that is free to enter.
