Great atmosphere, perfect location for watching the Euros, ample indoor and outdoor space and very reasonably priced drinks.

Rude
Oct 2020 • Couples
Lock their dog upstairs which means all you can hear is scratching and whimpering. Rude to customers and even ruder to their staff. Dog poo in the garden from their own dog. Not a pleasant place to be!

Thank you for your review. Even though you never actually visited us to use the pub. You are an ex employee, bitter because you wasn't trusted to look after my dog while we were out. And you looking through the window try to get his attention whivh aggrevated him, causing him to whine. Dog poo in the garden was not from our own dog because he was never allowed off the lead so we knew exactly when he would poo and pick it up straight away. I wish there was a site where I could review your ability to work. Shame.

I am sorry you had a bad experience. Once we re open no dog will be allowed off the lead and staff and ourselves will be more vigilant, so we can make sure this doesn't happen again. If you would like to come see us again in the future we would love to know how in your opinion we could make improvements. Thank you

This was out first visit since it 're opened. The top bar has gone and been replaced with tables and seating. The bottom bar and toilets have been modernised. The only ale I saw had gone so went for gin. The garden size has been reduced by way of a fence. Decent picnic benches some with umbrellas in the garden. Polite service at the bar, plenty of TV's showing sport.

Boxing Night
Jul 2018 • Couples
a well presented venue with friendly staff, Tracey made us feel at home watching the multiple television screens displaying the boxing, it was clean and comfortable - a nice evening. The garden too was well presented and not too busy giving me time to have a nice breath of air between fights (onTV)

Nice Pub
Aug 2016 • Family
Live very local to this pub but never been inside it before. I visited with family and young children. Really nice pub, friendly staff, kids loved the bouncy castle. Would use again and during warm weather it's ideal for families.
