A stones throw from the harbour, The Lifeboat is a small cosy pub selling good ales. If you fancy a break from the trendier pubs then you can't go far wrong here.

Old school pub, with an honest charm. Friendly staff/ publican. My grandfather used to drink in this pub - his son is now 80 years old! Worth a visit and gives a rare glimpse into the real Folkestone. A real local pub. Recommended.
