Went for a lovely walk along the beach and it was very clean, have never noticed a blue sea in this country but it was definitely blue here

Nice sandy beach. Good car parking at the Harbour arm and car parks a bit further along by the pebbly beach too.

One of my favourite beaches. It's sheltered, has soft flat sand, pleanty of toilets and places to eat in the harbour. Essential with kids! Seldom see any rubbish and loads of rock pooling and fossil hunting to keep you busy.

This is a lovely sandy beach and looks very clean, excellent for children to play safely. It is covered by sea water when the tide is in. There is sea defence work going on at the moment so only one access point is open.

Always enjoy a walk or paddle in the sea , plenty of seafood stalls and pubs along the way by the harbour

Area is being rejuvenated, so is an up and coming place with a good vibe happening. Has lots of potential.

This beach is a lovely place to visit on a sunny day. It's very clean with golden sands and the sea can be blue ( if the sun is shining)! You very nearly think you can be in the Med if it's warm enough. Great place to take children. Also dogs are allowed certain times of year but not in... More

Drove towards Folkstone after visiting the white cliffs and stopped off here. It was very quite on a sunny day at 4pm. Only 3 or 4 people on the beach. It is very small but such a nice clean beach. I can imagine on a summers day it being extremely busy. It was just so beautiful on the day that... More

A walk along here on a sunny day lifts the spirits. It is the best and probably the only sandy beach in town with good views of the harbour and the channel. Good to play on or just relax.
