A relatively small section of the Harbour area and clearly the availability of some sand rather than the shingle elsewhere on this coast, is a major factor. It was pretty busy but a very nice atmosphere. There are numbers of extremely good value fast food outlets - a large tub of cockles only cost me £1.50. This summer the site... More

A beautiful beach in Folkestone. Calm shallow waters and not to salty. Lovely flat beach with a nice little cafe nearby. Definitely our new favourite little place.

Sunny sands was very nice beach to go to. It was nice to make sand castles and children enjoyed and time passes by so fast when you are enjoying. Nice place to fly kites, and enjoy the fun. The weather was good all the time

Lovely clean beach with nice friendly people. It is a shame that the Coronation Parade is closed at the moment.

I take my Grandson to the sunny Sands whenever the weather is good , and out of season, my daughter and I walk Frankie the dog there, so it's a magical place in any weather.... great sand for castle building!

Went for a lovely walk along the beach and it was very clean, have never noticed a blue sea in this country but it was definitely blue here

Nice sandy beach. Good car parking at the Harbour arm and car parks a bit further along by the pebbly beach too.

One of my favourite beaches. It's sheltered, has soft flat sand, pleanty of toilets and places to eat in the harbour. Essential with kids! Seldom see any rubbish and loads of rock pooling and fossil hunting to keep you busy.

This is a lovely sandy beach and looks very clean, excellent for children to play safely. It is covered by sea water when the tide is in. There is sea defence work going on at the moment so only one access point is open.
