Beautiful weather when we visited and we wanted to relax on the beach. No chance. Towel to towel with kids everywhere and some dodgy folks. Garbage washing up in the water. No thanks. We passed.

Though being a small sized beach, has been kept clean and clutter free. Not very much developed as compared to other beaches but good to spend peaceful time in the sun !!!! ......our bad luck , went on a day when there was construction work going on and the noise gave us disappointment!!!!!

The Sunny Sands beach is ok just. There hasn't been much improvement to the immediate area for a long time & it needs it. As the name implies, this is a nice little sandy beach. It seemed very popular with families when we visited and so it was very crowded, but it's so nice to feel the sand between your toes. I think there were some other beaches nearby that were supposed to be less crowded that I'd probably check out next time.

A relatively small section of the Harbour area and clearly the availability of some sand rather than the shingle elsewhere on this coast, is a major factor. It was pretty busy but a very nice atmosphere. There are numbers of extremely good value fast food outlets - a large tub of cockles only cost me £1.50. This summer the site... More

A beautiful beach in Folkestone. Calm shallow waters and not to salty. Lovely flat beach with a nice little cafe nearby. Definitely our new favourite little place.
