Christmas gifts
Dec 2016 • Solo
Idea was to get some extra special Christmas gifts /sweets and chocolates for my loved ones.My friends suggested to try the Lollipop tree so I did.I entered the shop and was presented with a sour faced shop assistant.Shop itself was lovely.I did not buy anything purely down to the fact that I did not feel welcome in the shop.Shop assistant was just so so off putting. Will not return.

We’re so sorry that you came away from our lovely little shop with such a negative opinion. We do strive to achieve happy, friendly customer service and as a small independent business we realise that this is integral to our success. However it is true that we like to let people browse and release their inner ‘kid in a sweet shop’ at their own pace, without too much pressure or over sell, and if this came across as unwelcoming, we do apologise. Finally I promise the ‘sour face’ was completely unintentional…perhaps the sales assistant had just popped a sherbet lemon, or maybe it’s time to tackle the middle aged jowls with a bit of botox, either way, we would love you to return and give us a second chance.

Thank you so much for shopping with us, we really do appreciate your custom and we are glad that you found lots of lovely things to buy. A visit to a sweet shop should always be a happy experience and with this in mind our aim is not only sell a fantastic range of sweets but also to be friendly and welcoming and value every customer who comes through our door and I’m so sorry if on this occasion you felt let down. We do hope you will reconsider and visit us again…we’d love the opportunity to serve you with a smile and make amends.

Beautiful little sweet and chocolate shop with loads of unusual gifts
Feb 2016 • Family
This little shop is a spin on your traditional sweet shop. They've got hundreds of sweets in jars (to weigh out) plus a fabulous selection of hand-made Belgian chocolates. What makes it different is the very clever owner who uses her creativity to use these sweets and chocolates to make some great gifts. We bought a box of 1950s inspired sweets as a birthday pressie for a v. hard-to-buy-for uncle and the kids had a great time with eyes as round a saucers. Oh - and if you can't choose - they do a 'one of everything bag'! A great little shop - just outside the center of Hudds with lots of free parking around.
