Absolute dump
Oct 2021
The worst football stadium I have ever visited, although Roots Hall is close. The whole place is in a sorry state of repair and I am surprised it's even deemed safe with peeling paint, rust, broken glass, broken seats and disgusting toilets.

It's also a horrible part of Luton and there is no parking nearby, which is rubbish when you are disabled. The sooner Luton Town move to a new stadium the better because this place just isn't fit for purpose.

Blast from the past
Aug 2021 • Friends
One for the football hardcore.

By modern standard an awful stadium. The area I sat in didn’t have backs to the seats and had a pillar blocking part of the pitch. Old fashioned turnstiles and even by footballs standards, horrifically pungent toilets.

And for all of these reasons, it’s also brilliant. An old fashioned stadium which Luton have probably outgrown. A interactive museum of watching football in the 70s.

A great day out for a football romantic.

horrible seats
Jul 2021
i actually went to the football ground on 31st july 2021 to watch brighton play a friendly match so we were in the away end.i have never been to a worse ground in my life.my issue was with the seats.they were very uncomfortable with zero leg room.it would be ok for small people but we are not.spent all the match hunched up and willing the game to be over.the other issue was with the parking.there are no car parking facillities so had to walk 2 miles to the ground leaving the car in a forlorn back st.when we left the stewards wouldnt let us walk the same way we came to get to the car.it was all very annoying.i will never go again and if i was a luton football supporter,i would have given up football yrs ago

Dated
Feb 2020
An old ground with poor toilet facilities, poor entrance, if a bit quiant and dated.
Horrible sightlines, not a good view from anywhere in the away end.
Good unobtrusive stewarding , and efficient policing.
Not really suitable for Championship football

Unique away entrance
Feb 2020 • Solo
Must have the most unique entrance to the ground of any club. To enter the away stand you go under a row of terraced houses. Once through you can see residents cooking and watching TV in their own home. Ground is small but atmospheric. I sat in the home stand behind the goal, fans really friendly and good humour and atmosphere even though team struggling. First ground I have ever seen were you can purchase curried goat and rice. Enjoyable evening at the Luton v Sheffield Wednesday game.

Time travel - but fun
Dec 2019
It is an old, small, tight stadium and away fans do not get he best of views behind the goals. The away fans bar is about the size of the average house kitchen. Terrible? no, it's fun, a ground with real character that's not changed much since by first visit in 1978. Been there three times as an away fan now, lost every game, but do enjoy going.

It is a very easy fast bus ride from nex to the rail station that uses space left by disused track.

I will go again next time we're in the same division!

Old English football ground
Nov 2019 • Solo
Nothing special old English football ground. Looking forward for the Mall to stop blocking the new stadium investment. This one is right in the populated Bury Park area and Luton Town FC deserves and desperately needs a new proper stadium in a safe and easy accesable areas. This isn't one.

Terrible
Oct 2019
By far the worst stadium in the football league. The first row of the away end is dug in like a trench, can barely see the football. Burger stalls outside were in need of a clean.

Stadium seems to also still be under construction. Whilst the gardens you have to go through to get to the stadium are in need of sprucing up.

Friendly guide dogs at the entrance though, I believe fundraising for the RNIB.

One for old skool football supporters - armchair types will hate it :)
Mar 2019 • Friends
This place is so unique in these days of concrete bowls. stale atmospheres and fans replacing supporters.
Cramped, uncomfortable, noisy, aggressive but bags of history.
Love it!!!!!
