This railway and its beautiful stations is a superb attraction regardless of weather.. stunning views from the train, all the stations are amazing. Its a wonderful and well worth place to go to. Its simply a must do..

The train is immaculate, it is all looked after by volunteers who are a credit to the railway. The train stops at delightful villages.

I found this to be one of the best preserved railways, great choice of engines, like to get off instead of going the whole way to minehead, lovely little harbour town Watchet

If Your in Minehead the steam train is a must to see Somerset , make sure You start off With some fish And chips on the beach right in front of Station. Be ware of the seagulls , the Love the fish

What can one say other than it’s like returning back in time riding on a train in the style my grandfather used to drive- a little bit Agatha Christie’esque but worth a visit! A little time machine right on our front door!

If you get the train from Blue Anchor instead of Minehead or Bishops Lydeard etc., you can park on the road on the seafront for free. Alternatively, do what we did and stay overnight at the camp site - Hoburne Blue Anchor... More

Sorry I didn't get off there, we went in the opposite direction. However, we are heading back to Somerset in a few weeks and may go that. Maybe update you then? :)
